CHAPTER ELEVEN Alex Knight finished packing the little rucksack he and Cathy had bought one day when they were sightseeing the local countryside around Vevey. Then, standing up, he walked over to the bed where his wife was still lying half asleep. The blinds were drawn, and the room was plunged in semi-darkness. He could see Cathy's large blue eyes looking up at him from the pillow. She was still drowsy with sleep and hadn't been aware of his packing actions. He looked down at her lovely body clad in a flimsy mini nightgown, a pale blue little nothing with ruffles and lace that made her look like a little girl, a very enticing little girl though. Sitting down on the edge of the bed, Alex put his hand on her cheek. He had a feeling this would be the last time he would ever see his wife.
