Slightly shaken by the dour Major Carter, Edwin was glad to see Su Ling in the next group of people. She was wearing a very becoming flame colored dress, and her beautiful face lit up when she saw him.
"Hello, Lieutenant," she said, her dark eyes glinting mischievously. "Fancy seeing you here. Blond, blue-eyed and as cute as ever."
Edwin blushed slightly. He was never completely sure what this lovely creature was going to say or do next, but he knew that he liked her a great deal.
