Chapter 8 - Healing Wounds

In the wake of Martaugh's confession and the subsequent upheaval in their lives, the days passed in a blur of uncertainty and turmoil for Martaugh, Mary, and Aria. Each of them retreated into their own thoughts and emotions, grappling with the aftermath of their choices.

Aria: (to herself) I never meant to hurt anyone. I was just trying to find happiness. But now, I see that my happiness has come at a cost. I have to find a way to make things right.

As the days turned into weeks, Martaugh, Mary, and Aria each embarked on their own journey of healing and self-discovery, confronting their demons head-on and striving to find a way forward. And though the road ahead was long and uncertain, they knew that as long as they had each other, they could weather any storm.
