After that awkward scene, I walked out of the room and sat in the TV lounge. He followed me . I sat on the sofa and he sat beside me at a bearable distance. I stood up and drew the curtains and opened the window. It was pouring outside. I turned to sit on the sofa again and found him staring at me. When he saw that I caught him staring at me, he removed his gaze and looked downward.AWKWARD. I sat beside him again and we sat there in awkward silence. I heard his stomach growling. I looked at him and he looked at me and shrugged. "Want some instant noodles?" I asked.
"sounds great"he said with a small smile.
I went to the kitchen and opened the drawer and took the instant noodles out and boiled the water. i was about to put the noodles inside when I heard him say"Want any help?"
"No thanks", I said.
I came close and stood beside me.
"Can I ask you something?"he asked.
"yes"
"What's your name" he asked.
I put the noodles inside the water and was waiting for them to get ready.
"stella" i said "stella jhons"
"Nice name, but I like badass more." he said while nodding.
I laughed."What's yours," I asked.
"im micheal" he said.
" micheal jackson" i said.
"Yeah" he said and did a funny dance move which made me laugh.
I stared at him. He was suddenly looking more attractive.
" its ready" he said
" what" i asked.
" the noodles" he said.
"Oh I forgot but thanks, reminding me, Michael....jackson" I said while putting it into the dishes.
"Not mention ...badass" he replied.
"Grab your bowl and follow me" I said. I went to the TV lounge and sat on the carpet and he followed me.
He sat in front of me and started to eat the noodles.
"It's yummy" he said.
I nodded while eating.
"Do you live alone?" he asked.
" yes"
"Where are your parents?"
"They are dead" I answered.
"stutup" he said.
I glared at him and he glared back.
"Really.... I'm sorry. I'm an ashole"he said with guilt.
"It's fine. Shut up now" I said, while laughing a little.
"so you do a job or something" he asked.
" job... oh sht... I forgot" I said, while opening my phone.
I checked my phone and found that I had a total of 7 orders.
"Oh, 7 cake orders" I said to myself.
"So..you work online ......baking cakes" he asked.
"Yes" I said and was about to stand up when he held my hand and made me sit again.
"Eat first. I will help you with your work", he said.
I ate quickly and stood up and walked towards the kitchen. I wore my apron and walked outside the kitchen. I threw an apron at him and he caught it.
"wear it". I ordered.
He stood up and wore the apron. I walked inside the kitchen and he followed me.
"I'm sorry to say, but.. I don't know how to bake anything",he said.
"What...then why did you say that you would help me?" I said with confusion.
"because I wanted to help...yk and I'm stuck here because it is pouring outside so I wanted to help you till I'm here". he replied honestly.
"awww...so sweet of you" I said with sarcasm. I collected all the ingredients from the cabins.
"Pleasure is all mine", he said while bowing down.
I laughed a little and started to measure the ingredients and put them into the bowl. I was so focused on my work. I walked towards the shelf to grab another bowl and saw that he was staring at me constantly. I looked at him and gave him the bowl in which I was mixing the ingredients and said "mix it."
"For sure badass," he replied.
Then I added ingredients to another bowl and gave him that one too, and asked him to mix it.
I was making the 4th cake when my attention moved towards him. I was so concerned about his work and was paying full attention. I looked at his hands. His veins were coming out because of mixing the ingredients constantly. his messy hair was falling on his forehead.
"Why are you staring at me" he asked calmly.
"I- I'm watching if you are doing it right or not" I stutered.I was shocked, like how he could see me while working this hard.
"okay"he said.
I continued working.
"I'm tired of mixing it with a whisker", he said.
"Okay..you can just put the ingredients into the bowl and I will guide you". I said this because only 3 cakes were left and 2 cakes were already out of the oven.
"sounds interesting" he agreed.
I gave him the bowl and measuring cups and spoons. I told him what to put a few things inside and when i asked him to put flour, he messed it up. Flour was everywhere, on shelves, on the floor and on......him.
"What the..." I murmered.
He looked up at me..... his messy hair was full of flour. He ruined my shirt too.we both stared at each other for a whole minute.
I laughed out loud.
"your face...." I tried to speak but couldn't.
"Why are you laughing at me" he said while chuckling.
"you look hella funny......OMG"
He started to laugh too.
after laughing like an animal, I looked up at him and he was already staring at me with his eyes full of something.....idk.
"You have a nice laugh" he said.
I stopped laughing. "Thank you"
He kept looking at me just like that.
"Let me clean your hair" I said.
He nodded. I walked towards the sink and he followed.
"bend over", I told him so I could reach his head.
We were so close, I opened the tap and put the water on his head. He was so tall that he had to bend way too much.
I ran my fingers through his hair. His hair was so soft and smooth. I could do it the whole day. I was deep in thoughts when i heard him say.
"are you done.....my back hurts".
"Yeah, your hair is all free of flour", I said, taking a step back.
"Thank you badass"
"whatever.....finish the work, Michael jackson" I mocked.
"Here we go then," he started the work again.
After a while, the cakes were fully baked and I was done frosting the first 3 cakes. We were both working on the 3rd one when he put cream on my nose. I looked up at him and he passed me a big innocent smile.
I ignored him and when he was working again, I did the same for him.
"Really a badass" he said, and came towards me to apply more cream to my face and I stopped him while laughing.
I ran outside the kitchen and he followed with his 2 fingers full of cream. He strangled me and I fell on the sofa .......along with him.
