CH. 33- Destiny

Rommel dragged me to a room and locked me inside. After Rommel closed the door, I tried opening it. But the door didn't budge. So I tried something else. Like a raging bull, I charged toward the door. But such effort was fruitless, as I didn't manage to open the door. I also hurt myself in the process. I sat down on the floor and cried. But the gaze of my mother and the revelation of my father. It only puts my head in pain. But the words of my father truly spoke the truth. Mother did sell me to Rommel. I stood back up and explored the room; it was huge. I gaze at many things that I only seen in stores. There's even a giant flat tv, and below it was three strange-looking things. I may be a homeless kid, but my mother taught me to read. I read the logos on the strange things I saw at a particular store, where most children go with their parents. “One box series X, Game Station Five, and Swatch.” On the opposite side of the room, I saw—a strange-looking small tv's linked to each and on its side a large box. I move closer and saw that the case has transparent glass, and on the other side an aluminum. On the glass side, I read the things inside the case. “Gamer of Republic Ray Tracing Thirty-Ninety.” I don't know what the purpose of this thing is. And why is it connected to small but long TVs? Everything in this place is new to me. I did not sleep on the bed as I don't feel like it. I slept on the floor and enjoyed it. Morning came, the door of the room opened. In an instant, I dash towards it, however, as I reached the door. The maid blocks the gap in the door with her leg so quickly. I could see her blue striped underwear contrasting the black stocking on such an angle. She immediately shuts the door and locks it while pulling a food trolley inside the room. The maid walks toward me and said something unexpected. “Master Blitz, starting today, I will be tending to your needs." Basing on her looks alone, the maid is somewhere in her twenties, with black hair and brown eyes. She also seems to take care of her body with her perfect curvatures. “I don't need anyone to replace my mother," I replied. The maid lowers herself on my level while grabbing a spoon. She held my mouth while aiming the utensil full of food in my mouth. “I am not to replace your mother. I'm here to be your servant, someone that will serve you. My job is to help, clean, and look after you. I am not a replacement for your mother.” After she said those words, she forces the spoon into my mouth. Even the food looks delicious; I did not enjoy every single bit of it. The maid immediately left after I finished my food. But she once again returned with a fresh pair of clothes. She dragged me to the bathroom of the room I was locked in. There she removed all of my ragged clothes. While she also released her clothes, revealing her body to me. There she pulled me into the bathtub, where she scrubbed my body with soap and some brush. I have never washed with warm water before; I didn't even experience a full bath. I only washed my body with a rag and water bottle. But I could feel something about the young maid washing every inch in my body. She didn't leave any spots untouched it was uncomfortable. After bathing me, the maid dried herself and me with two pairs of towels. She then gave me the fresh pair of clothes she brought. The maid immediately left and took the ragged clothes that I always wore. Rommel came back and ask me a question, “Is everything fine, Blitz?” “Did mother truly sold me to you? If she did, why did you bought me from her? And why did she kept father a secret from me?” Rommel crossed his arm before replying, “ Hmm, Hina. I don't know her reason for selling you. But I think she wants the money and sees you as a burden.” I gritted my teeth as I wouldn't say I like Rommel's answer. But everything that had happened proved his word. I was like a volcano ready to erupt any moment now. But I kept it and only replied in a low voice. “I see.” After my reply, Rommel continued, “ About the reason I bought you. It is because you are my master's child. And you are somewhat unique. Maybe seeing it for yourself will make you understand.” Rommel drag me toward the door, and there he spoke. “If you are good boy, I'll allow you to roam around the estate with your maid.” I nodded as a reply to Rommel. He let go of my hand just asked me, “Good, then follow me; I'll show you how unique you are." I followed Rommel to a different building. There I gaze up pictures of people I never knew. They held different types of weapons, ranging from muskets, swords, mace, pistol, knife, and chainsaw. Then Rommel brought me to a dead end. But he places his hands on the wall. Then the floor below us rotates, which also turned the wall—stairs leading to the underground. I don't know, but an ominous creepy aura came rushing out. And it came from what or something in there. Rommel walks down, and I followed. The only thing that provided us light. Are the torches sticking out on the brick stone wall? It almost feels like the place below was a dungeon from the old medieval period. When we arrived, my eyes widened with disbelief. I saw strange creatures locked up in cells chained. It was a horrifying sight for the young me. Beasts of different forms and shapes were locked up in there. Chills crawled my spines as I gaze at each grotesque creatures in that room. But to Rommel, they were like nothing to him. He even moved close to the beast, snarling without any hint of fear. “What is this place?" I asked Rommel. “This place is the trophy room of your father. Monsters that gave them a hard time capturing are all put here. Your father has three of them locked up in here.” “Do you see why you are unique, master Blitz? You are a chosen one—the one who will continue the Helsing family tradition of monster hunting." I only stared at the monsters shackled with big sturdy chains as I replied. “Monster Hunting?” “Master Blitz, don't you see how important you are to the humans. You are a destined savior of the human race from these vile demons. Who only exist to eat, kill, and torture humans. Many people are willing to kill to get in your shoes." “Master Blitz, if you accept this fate and forget your mother. You are humankind's secret savior. The survival of the world lays down on your hand. So what do you think, master Blitz? Isn't your fate extraordinary?” I could not understand the words that Rommel spoke. But it seems essential, and I didn't want any part of it. But. Rommel grabs me on my shoulder and, like a crazed person, started to speak in a very persuasive and scary manner. “Won't you accept it, Master Blitz!? People will cheer you as you protect them!? The glory and the sense of heroism, can't you feel pleasure from just imagining it all. At the same time, gazing at these disgusting freaks!” “You're scaring me, Rommel." “Master Blitz, you shouldn't be scared. As this is your fate, your destiny, and the only thing you should focus on! I'm sure when you take this path, you'll find the way of greatness and pleasure in killing these monsters.” “Rommel, Stop! I heard you loud and clear. So please stop scaring me.” Romney returned to his usual self, which I am used to, and spoke. “Very well, you master. Perhaps I should start training you tomorrow because you have seen the monsters. And what we do, this the first steps for your path to greatness, Master Blitz. I will be witnessing your growth. I am very excited to see where this path will take you.” Rommel walk me back to my room. But on our way. I crossed paths with the girl who is my half-sister—the girl who beat the crap of me. “Rommel, why is that kid here!?” She asks as she points her index finger at me. “Miss Belize, I took Master Blitz to tour the house. Also, hasn't your father told you that Master Blitz would be staying with us. He's going to be your new training partner and classmate, starting tomorrow." “Huh!? A weakling like him is going to be my training partner. Pfft! I beat the crap out of him. He wasn't even able to block a single strike from me.” Oh, I remember now. I used to always argue with my older gal sister. Being with her training every single day is like hell. She maintained that attitude of hers every time she sees me. Like she hated me my entire life. I don't know why she was like this towards me. Until I learned more about her, I slowly understood her hatred towards me. But something happened that changed her attitude towards me. Even she's the one who hates me the most. She's the only one who understood me the most as I stayed longer in the mansion and under the care of my father.
