Jake met Jerry at the college about an hour before the show they were about to review. Jerry shared a bit of his background as they talked over coffee.
“I went to drama school in New York,” he told Jake. “That was almost twenty years ago. It seems like a long time. I was lucky enough to get some acting gigs in New York right out of college, and in a few short years I appeared in several productions with some major names. That led to a couple of tours, and eventually even a couple of very small TV roles. After that I went off to be in a show in London’s West End, followed by a European tour that took me to a half dozen countries. Returning to the States, I directed several off-Broadway productions.
