Chapter 12Washington, DC
Jake sat in the Orlando airport hoping for an update on his flight to Washington. It had already been delayed two hours as the east coast had been hit with a snowstorm. He was glad he’d booked a direct flight. At least there wouldn’t be a further delay changing planes in Charlotte or Atlanta.
The departure board flashed, and he was relieved to see his flight would board in an hour. With any luck he’d still be able to meet Jerry for dinner. He’d been given the address of the hotel hosting the convention, and Jerry had told him to call when he arrived. He was much too busy to meet Jake at the airport.
