Chapter 16Broadway, Opening Night You’ve never been one for opening night jitters, Jake said to himself. Don’t start now. And, in fact, considering the magnitude of what he was about to do, he felt pretty calm. Rehearsals had gone very smoothly. His excellent memory allowed him to have his lines down cold at every moment. Seldom did the director have to correct him or speak to him about anything. There had actually been more rehearsals than he really needed. But just as important, he’d found Wyatt Jenssen very easy to get along with. The two had become good friends.
