Listen to Your Mother became Jake’s life, as there were no more phone calls or weekends with Jerry. To his surprise, he found after a few weeks he didn’t miss the man very much. He began to think they’d both known the end was coming for some time. Many long-distance relationships simply didn’t survive. It was time to move on.
One evening after the show he found himself talking with a man who was a consultant for the set. Given the spiritual subject matter, a number of wax statues were used at various times. Myron had made every one of them, as he owned a wax museum in Sleepy Hollow, a small town along the Hudson River just north of the city.
