Cliff was in a state of shock as he processed the information that was shared with him. It made sense to him though, he was just a child when princess Harriet was assassinated, but he remembered the rumors of the lost princess of Donchok. But he never imagined that they could be true. "Yes, sir, when do I leave for my mission?" Cliff asked. Edmond swallowed and c****d his head at Cliff. "you will leave almost immediately, and you will have an hour to prepare for the journey. Your horse will be ready for you when you return to the palace as well." Cliff nodded and bowed his head in an agreement and began walking out of the palace. As he left he was deep in thought.. what if I can't find her. No. That was foolish, cliff Murphy was the best tracker in the kingdom of Donchok. This is not different then any other assignment, there's no reason to doubt yourself. Cliff thought to himself. As Cliff readied himself for the journey he pulled out his map of the kingdom. Looking over it he predicted that it would take him at least three days there and back assuming the Princess was cooperative. For all he knew Princess Gwenyth didn't even know she was Princess Gwenyth. With his things gathered and packed, he walked back to the palace and waited as his horse was brought to him. he wondered what she'd looking like, if she was strong or sweet. Strapped to either side or the white, mare whose mane melted into a deep darkest black, where saddle bags full of rations, and additional survival gear. He strapped on his own gear to the mare and mounted the patient beast who was at least three feet taller than he was. He was given a vague but helpful idea as to what the princess could or would look like and a tiny scroll with the painting of the cottage her in which legend said she'd been hidden away. wiping his chilled face he mounted his horse heading off in search of the Princess.
