Chapter 8

-Unknown’s POV-

Every since four days ago when things started to arrive at the pack to be placed into the newest pack house that was build two weeks ago, my wolf and I have been on edge and it doesn’t help at all that we have been helping the omegas move the things in the house. There was a bedroom suit that seemed like whoever sleeps in it liked to the outdoors so I helped put the bed, dresser and everything into the room that faced the forest, and then the other bedroom suit went into the room that was facing the resting of the houses. 'I wonder who is moving in here' I said to Tyler my wolf 'I don't know, but I hope it is our mate Tate.' He said to me as I walked away from the house 'So do I Tyler, so do I' I said to him, as I walked to the park. My mom who is the current Luna of Sliver Moon told me to come home right after I got done helping, but I wanted to think for awhile so I was going to go to the park which was one of my special places to go when I need to think about life or my mate. When I get to the park I sit down on a swing and start swinging slowly as I think.

Well my name is Tate, I’m the son of Alpha Lance and Luna Summer, and also I am the next Alpha of the pack. I just turned sixteen and I haven’t found my mate, I will find her or she will find me. My wolf Tyler doesn’t like to wait at all, but I don’t really like waiting either, but I know our mate is out there somewhere. So the pack’s name is Silver Moon, we are one of the strongest packs here in the US. We have restraints, cafes, and big businesses along with the pack, we have humans working at our restraints, cafes and some of our big businesses depending on where they are at in the world.

So late yesterday afternoon Tyler and I were out on a run and we checked on the guards at the edge of the territory. As we headed back we saw that one of our pack limousines had pulled into the drive way of the house that was at the edge of the forest. We watched as the door of the car opened up, a man and woman stepped out and they looked to be in there late forties, the guy said something to driver who was one of the packs omegas, and he just nodded his head. Then most amazing smell of cherry blossoms and lilies hit mine and Tyler's nose 'Mate!!' Tyler said to me and he started to walk but I had to stop him 'Mate is a human and they don't know are real.' I said to him and he huffed at me 'MATE!' He said to me and rolled my eyes to him 'We will meet her in the morning' I said and huffed at me again. Tyler hates to wait on things; he gets pissed if he has to wait too long on something, so him having to wait to say hello to our mate is pissing him off. ‘Dude calm down’ I said to him ‘I CAN’T CALM DOWN! I WANT TO SPEAK WITH MATE!’ He yelled to me and I let out a sigh ‘Tyler we will come on and check on her later to night, but we can’t let her see us’ I said to him ‘I hope it is her room that is next to the forest.’ He said to me and I have to agree with him on that. We watched as a girl about my age get out of the limousines, she turned and grabbed something out of the car then she said something to the driver and he nodded and smiled at her and she walked away from him. 'He smiled at mate!' Tyler growled 'Mate doesn't know about us yet.' I said to him 'She would if you would just go talk to her.' He said to me and I let out a sigh ‘We check on her tonight man so calm down.’ I said to him as I trotted off to the pack house, when we got to the pack house I trotted behind a tree and shifted back into me human form and put on a pair of sport shorts then I walked into the pack house.

When I walked in the pack house the pack slut Aki calm up and snaked her arm around my neck “Hi baby how is every think going?” She asked me and I pushed her away from me “Aki I’m not your mate, so don’t call me ‘baby’” I said to her using my Alpha voice, she bowed to me “I’m sorry Alpha.” She said and I walked off and up to my room ‘That b***h makes me sick.’ I thought to myself ‘I have to go wash her nasty touch off of myself’ I thought again as I walked to my room. I hated guys especially Alphas who will have s*x before they find their mates. ‘We should kick her out Tate’ Tyler said to me and I thought about it ‘Or we could be her in the dungeon for a while.’ I said to him ‘Mated wolfs guard the dungeon.’ I said to him ‘That could work.’ He said to me and we talked about for while I was in the shower but we never came up on anything for sure, so the slut would have to watch her back. When I got done with the shower I got out and dried off, then I walked back into my room and got dressed in a gray sweat pants and a white v-line t-shirt. I walked back down stairs as a yawn left my mouth; I walked to my dad’s office and knocked on the door before I enter the room. He was just getting off the phone when I walked into the room “Hey there Tate, what I can I do for you?” He asked me and I sat in the one of the chairs that was in front of his mahogany desk. I leaned back in the chair and looked pasted him for a moment "I found my mate, but she doesn’t know she is my mate..." I said to him with a sigh “Dad she is human.” I added as I looked at him and he watched me “What are you going to?” He asked me “Tyler wants me to tell her about us, but I’m nerves to do it.” I said to him and he leaned back in his chair and crossed his arms “You should talk to her, and get to know.” He said to me and I nodded “She might surprise you.” He said smiling “What do you mean dad?” I asked him “You can find that out on your own son.” He said smiling and he got up and walked around the desk “I invited Bill, Lilly and their daughter Ruby for breakfast in the morning.” He said to me and I smiled “Ruby is her name; I like the sound of it.” I said smiling and dad patted me on the back “Night son.” He said and walked out of his office and I walked out shortly after.

After I left dad’s office I looked outside ‘Mate…’ Tyler said to me ‘Yes let’s go see mate’ I said to him. I walked out of the house and walked down the road a good piece before I turn a walk to the forest, I walk behind a tree and strip then I shifted into Tyler, and we walked the rest of the way to Ruby’s house. ‘Mate’s home is so calm’ Tyler said to me. ‘They are probably already in bed Tyler’ I said to him. ‘Yea you are right’ He said to me and we trotted to the side of the house where Ruby’s room was, we walked a little closer then I wanted to at first but then I was okay with it because we could see her better. It’s not like our shout was on the door, we were still far enough where she couldn’t see up, and Tyler’s fur was black so she would only see his eyes. We sat on the ground and watched her, it looked like she was still awake, and she was talking to herself. ‘Let’s get closer Tate’ Tyler said to me. ‘Man we don’t need to scar her’ I said to him, but I wanted to get closer also. ‘Let’s see what happens tomorrow man.’ I said to him and he growled at me ‘Fine but we are calling her princess if she checks us out.’ He said to me and I rolled my eyes at him ‘Alright then Tyler.’ I said to him and we got up and trotted back to where our cloths were and I shifted back into my human form them I put on my close, then I walk back to the pack house.

The next morning I got up early and got ready for the day, I took another shower and once I was done I got dried off, and walked back into my room, I put on my boxers then I walked into my walk into closet and put on a pair of nice blue jeans, and a gray t-shirt with a v-neck in it, and I put on my black canvas shoes. After I’m dressed I slick my hair back and look in the mirror ‘Hope mate approves of us.’ I thought to myself ‘She will Tate’ Tyler said to me and I smiled ‘I hope you are right man’ I said to him ‘Tate I’m always right.’ He said to me and I rolled my eyes at him. I walked to my bedroom door and opened it then I walked out of my room and closed the door behind me. I started to walk to the stairs and I walked down them “Morning all.” I said smiling and the pack looked at me, my two friends Matt and Hunter came up next to me, they was also my beta and delta “Morning loser.” Matt said to me and I rolled my eye “Morning to you too Matt, and morning Hunter.” I said to them smiling at them “Okay what has you so smiley this morning?” Hunter asked me and I looked at him “One word mate” I said to him and he looked at me and so did Matt “Do we know her?” They both asked me and shook my head no “She just moved here.” I said to them and they were shocked, as I was walking to the kitchen I heard my parents talking to someone. As I walked closer to the kitchen the smell of cherry blossoms and lilies hit my nose and I keep walking, all of a sudden a heard a sweet voice studded ‘What happened to mate’ I thought as I got closer to the kitchen and I saw that a male wolf had his arm around my mates waits and I growled at him through the mind link and told him not to touch what is mine. He let go of her and she stumbled back but she didn’t fall, I noticed the eye roll she gave him and it was cute.
