Chapter 10

-Tate’s POV-

As I was walking into the kitchen I heard my dad talking to my mate and I was smiling because the person who was made for me is in my house “We have a son about your age Ruby.” He said to her, I was still to fair from the kitchen for her to hear me walking but I could her there conversion, because of my werewolf hearing “I would like to meet him.” She said to my dad and I could guess that she was smiling by the way she was talking “You will get too he should be here soon Ruby.” He said to her as he spotted me when he looked behind her "Ah there he is." Dad said to her and she turned around to face me when she heard me walking into the kitchen. When our eyes meet and we locked onto each other, if was as if we were the only two of us was in the world at the moment and the world had stopped in time around us. She looked like she was about my age, and she looked like a Greek goddess. Her voice sound as sweet as honey to my ears and I could listen it all day long. Her dark brown hair looked so soft; I could run hands through her hair all day and even more while we were cuddling; her smokey gray eyes are so beautiful I could stair into them all day and all night long, I would just get lost in her eyes as I stared into them, I would never get tired of looking into her eyes. Then her lips was a cute pink color and they was begging me to kiss her right her and right now, but I held myself back from doing it. I walked up to her and a huge smile was playing on my lips, I know she was checking me out because I was checking her out too. The mate bond was already starting to take effect on her even thought we haven’t even touched yet. ‘She is a very special mate’ Tyler said to me and I growled at him ‘You do know how to kill a mood you know that.’ I said to him and he rolled his eyes at me, Ruby couldn’t hear talk talking to Tyler and I was glad at that. When I got to her I chuckled at her so she wouldn’t know I was checking her out too, all thought she probably knew already "Are you checking me out princess?" I said to her and face turned ten shades of red, almost like she had be caught doing something naughty, I wanted to chuckle at her cuteness for that but I didn’t. “I-I… c-che-check…. o-out….” She stuttered which was also cute, well it was to me anyways “It’s okay if you were princess.” I said to her smiling ‘She is just so dang sexy. I thought to myself ‘Let’s mark mate now!’ Tyler said ‘Man I want to mark her too, but she human and she doesn’t know what we are.’ I are to him and I let out a sigh, I did agree with Tyler but I knew we couldn’t do that yet because we had to get to know her and tell her that we was a werewolf. I didn’t want any unwanted wolfs to look at her she is my mate, I will have to figure out something she with have my smell on her and unmated wolfs will know she is taken. “R-Ruby…” She stuttered out her name and that caused a smile to come on my face “Princess Ruby nice to meet you, I’m Tate.” I said to her as took to her right hand in mine, and the mate sparks went through, and felt like a million little zaps all over my body but they was on high charge, although the sparks felt so right. ‘Ruby… my mate… my Luna’ I thought to myself and this time Tyler didn’t say anything thank goodness.

I let go of Ruby's hand for a moment 'Why did you let mate's hand go, Tate?' Tyler ask me and I rolled my eyes at him 'Would you just be quite, and let me have some time with Ruby.' I said to him 'Dude I can't leave you.' He said to me and he was right but he could just shut the hell up for once 'Just be quite for now.' I said to him and put up the block between us before he could say anything to me. I snaked my arm around Ruby's waist and pulled her closer to me, her face was still red and was cute "Shall we go talk some where quite Princess Ruby?" I asked her, and nodded her cute head her heart was going a thousand beats per minute, I don't think a human's heart is support to go that fast, but hers was. She was just so dang adorable and sexy "Shall we go then?" I asked her and she smiled at me "Of course." She said to me and I smiled at her. I pulled her even closer to my body as we walked out of the kitchen, it felt great to have found my mate and have her in my arms. She fit so perfectly against my side I was smiling as we walked outside; I looked down at her and noticed a smile on her face "What are you thinking about princess Ruby?" I asked her as we keep walking in the back yard "I... um... was just... um.... thinking..." She stuttered but she was also blushing which was cute "About what princess Ruby?" I asked her smiling as we got to the perfect tree to set under, and when we sat down on the ground I pulled her into my lap. "Um.... about...." a game where we asked each other question, so we get to know each other a little better." I said to her smiling and smiled back at me "If we just asked each other questions and then answer them I thing I under it." She said to me smiling and I rested my chin on her shoulder, and I inhaled her amazing sent "Ask away princess." I said smiling happily as I help onto her "What is your full name?" She asked me and I looked at her "That is what you start off you princess?" I ask her but I meant to think it, Tyler was snickering and I growled at him, the jerk made me say it, I can't believe him, and he thinks its funny. Ruby narrowed her eyes at me "Alright, alright sorry. It's Tate Landen" I said to her and looked at me 'And wolf's name is Tyler the asshole' I thought 'Hey that is not my last name, I don't even have one.' Tyler said to me and I rolled my eyes at him and put the wall up between myself and him. I smiled at her "What about you princess, what is your full name" I asked her smiling "It's Ruby Dakota." She said to me with a smile on her face "It is a pretty name, for a very beautiful girl." I said to her smiling and she smiled back "Where were you born at princess?" I asked her smiling "I was born in Savannah, Georgia it's a long way away from here." She said to me, she sounded kind of happy to be away from her home town, I held her close to my body. "I was born here," I said to her 'and it just got even better.' I thought 'You are right Tate.' Tyler said to me, and he finally agrees with me, that is great. I smiled at Ruby “Next question princess” I said to her smiling. “Do you like to read” She ask me smiling, I shook my head no "No not really, how about you princess" I said to her as I held her, and that was the truth I never liked going over papers dad’s ask to me. "Yea I do like to read, but not all the time" She said to me and I nodded understanding that. “What is your favorite color” I asked her smiling "The color of your eyes." She said to me smiling and I nuzzled my head into her neck “Your eye color is my favorite color.” I said to her and she giggled ‘I could get lost in your eyes princess’ I thought happily “Do you play sports?” She asked me and I looked at her "Nope, I don't do them." I said to her "Neither do I, I don't like them." She said to me and I held her close to me as I thought for a moment ‘Other then the game, I feel like there is something behind that question’ I thought to myself. “My turn right?” I asked and she giggled as she nodded “What do you like to do in your free time?" I said her as I held her close to me and I watched as she chewed on her lower lip ‘Oh gah that is super sexy.’ I thought "I like to walk in the forest." She said to me and I looked at her “Well dang, there went one of my other questions.” I said to her and she giggled at me “I like the forest as well princess.” I said to her with a smile on my face “Do you work out?” She asks me and I look at her "Well duh how else do you think I got these mussels" I say to her in a dun tone of voice as I flexed my mussels and she giggles as she smiles at me."That was a silly question of me to ask" She said to me as I looked at her "Yes princess it was." I said to her and she crossed her arms and puffed up her cheeks as if she was mad at me ‘Awe so cute.’ I thought smiling "You don't have to agree with me on that." She said to me and I just chuckled at her cuteness "What kind of music do you like?" I asked her after I had stopped laughing, I watched her and she started to chew on her lower lip ‘The more she does that the more I want to kiss her.’ I thought as I watched her "I like different kind of music, but I don't listen to it much." She said to me and I was looking at her as I was smiling "I'm the same way." I said to her and she looked at me and smiled, we talked more and then got down to our last three questions. “Your turn princess” I said to Ruby “Okay prince.” She said to me and she started to play the hum of her shirt, I watched her “I don’t want to be rude, when I ask the question.” She said in a low voice and I held her closer to me "Just go ahead princess, you can't be rube to me I promise." I told her as I held her and I watched as after a minute or two she was chewing on her lower lip again, my eyes flickered black, she looked up at me and saw them but she was not scared “Are you a werewolf?” She asked me and I looked at her with a shocked look on my face, I could not have guessed that was coming "Yea I am princess." I said to her as I looked at her "But how did you know that werewolves was real princess?" I asked her and she looked down into her lap "I didn't know prince, I just had always wished and hoped that you all was real." She said to me and I looked at her "What do you mean princess?" I asked her "I've always felt saver when I have walked in the forest back in Savannah, Georgia and the moon always calmed me down at night." She told me and I held on to her "I was also always drawing wolfs and coming up with stories to go with my drawing for art class." She added as she laid her head on my chest and I looked down at her "Princess I have a question and it a big one." I said to her and she looked up at me "Yea what is it?" She said to me with a smile on her face, my heart was beating fast as I sniffed her "Will you be my mate? My girlfriend?" I asked her as I looked at her "HELL YES I WILL TATE!" She yelled as she throw her arms around my neck and I smiled at her "I'm sorry I yelled." She said to me and that made me chuckle a bit "It's alright my princess." I said to her as I stud up with her in my arms and she held on tight to my neck “I’m not going to drop you princess.” I said to her "I know but you surprised me." She said to me and we was both smiling “Prince Tate.” She said looking up at me “Yes Princess Ruby?” I asked her "What is your wolf's name?" She asked me and I looked at her "His name is Tyler and he wants to meet too." I said to her as started to carry her to the house "I'd like to meet him too, but right now I want to spend time with you." She said to me smiling and I smiled back "Awe I love you." I said to her and she blushed deeply when I said that "Let's go get some food before it all gets gone" I said to her and she nodded her head, as we walked to the house.

We got back into the house and I carried Ruby into the kitchen, when we got in there I sat down with her in my lap. “Princess Ruby” I said to her but I didn’t get an answer “Princess.” I said as I waved a hand in front of her face and I nuzzled against her “Yes my prince?” She said to me and I smiled at her, she had been calling me ‘prince’ already and I loved it “Your Prince I like that.” I said to her and we both smiled “Are you alright?” I asked her “Yea I’ve never been better.” She said to me and then she noticed that she was in my lap, but she didn’t try to move “I like when I make you blush” I said to her smiling as her face was red and she snuggled against more. “What would you like to drink princess?” He ask me as he held me “Coffee please.” I said to him with a smile on my face, then one of female omegas that do the cooking came out “Two coffees please Meg” I said to her and she nodded her head and walked away to get us some coffee. Out of the corner of my eye I could see Ruby’s parents face and they had a ‘what the f**k’ look on them mean while I knew my parents was happy for me. Ruby berry her face into my chest and I couldn’t help but chuckle at her, because she was being cute but I rubbed her back. Meg came back with our coffee and our food which was two full plates of food. The plates was filled bacon, eggs, sausage, hash browns, another plate had crepes, pancakes, pork rolls, and all different kinds of foods. “This all looks good” She said smiling, she was right about that “Yes it does” I said to her smiling.
