Chapter 20

-Tate's POV-

I know Ruby's mom had fixed breakfast for her and her husband, because when Ruby and I left her room we could smell it in the air. But I wanted to take Ruby to breakfast, sure I should have let her have a breakfast with her parents before moving into the pack house with me. I carried her out of her house that she hadn’t even been in a week but oh well, we are mates and we love each other, and it was not completely because of the mate bond.

As I carried Ruby out of the house she keep her head on my chest, she would nuzzle and try to get even closer to me as I carried her "You like doing that don't you?" I asked her as I looked down at her "Yea I do, I want to get even closer to you." She said to me smiling happily, although her mind was busy thoughts of everything that she would have to learn now that she was a werewolf, and she was nervous about it all. I stop in front of my black Dodge Charger “Princess I need too let you down for a moment.” I said to her and she nodded her head as I set her on her feet, then I opened to car door “Princess your ride await you.” I said to her and when I did she looked at me and then at car and I smiled at her as she got in the car, I shut the door after she got in the car, and I walked to the driver’s side of the car and got in. I pushed the start button on the car and took off, where I was going to take Ruby was one of my favorite restaurants to go to, but I had not been there in over two weeks, they was only opened for breakfast and lunch, but on some days they would stay opened later and I was take full advantage of that.

I pull into the restaurant’s parking lot, and pull into the slot that has a sigh says ‘Alpha & Luna' on it and I turn off the car. Now this restaurant doesn’t look like one because there is no big fancy sign next to or it doesn’t look fancy at all. From the outside it looks like an nice quaint house that has been well used over the years. There is a full size porch on the outside that has chair swings, chairs made out of wood, all of them look well used also. But the inside is a bit different it looks like a small family restaurant and fells like one too, that is why I like coming here so much. All the staff that works here is very nice there is none that wants to flirt with the customers.

I look over at Ruby, who is looking at the building as if this is just another pack house “Is this really a restaurant?” She asked me and I chuckled a bit because I figured she would ask that question “Yes my princess it is a restaurant and the food here is good.” I said to her as I smiled “Now I’ll be right over there so set tight.” I said to her before I got of the car and walked over to her side. When I got to her side I opened the door for her “My lady shall we go?” I asked her as I held out my hand and she took my hand as she got out of the car. I smiled at her and lead her inside the restaurant, when we got inside she was shocked at the difference of the outside to the inside "Oh my good it smells so good in here." She said to me as she looked around and I smiled at her "Yea it does princess." I said to her and lead her to a table at the front of the restaurant, when we got to the table I pulled out her chair for her and she sat down then I pushed her in and went and I walked to the other side and sat down in the chair.

-Ruby's POV-

Tate carried out of my bedroom, as soon as we stepped out the smell of mom's cooking hit my nose. Mom's cooking is good I like but I wanted to have breakfast with Tate and just the two of us. I'm sure mom wanted me to have her cooking before I left the house and ate with her and dad this morning, or should I say this afternoon, yea there was days the family would breakfast for lunch or dinner. But I want to spend even more time with Tate, actually the way I felt right now was that I never wanted to leave his side not even to go to the bathroom. I nuzzled my head against Tate's chest and smiled up at him, I love him so much it is not funny, he is my world, my one and only, he is my everything.

As Tate carried me out of the house my head never his chest, I would look up at him every few minutes and he would catch me looking up at him, and I nuzzle my head more into his chest "You like doing that don't you?" He asked me and I looked up at him "Yea I do, I want to get even closer to you." I said to him and he smiled back at me, then he stopped and my smile dropped because I had I felling he was going to put me back on the ground “Princess I need too let you down for a moment.” He said to and I nodded my head to him then he set me down on my feet, I heard a car door open and I looked at it “Princess your ride await you.” He said to me as he helped me into the and I smiled at him as he shut the door and walked over to the other side to get in to get in, when he got in he pushed the 'start' button on the car and it started right up, then he took off to where every we was going to eat at.

I would have talked more if my mind was not so busy right now. There was a lot of things that was going on it there and all of them was to do about me being a full blooded werewolf after Tate marked me. I already felt like a different me but yet the same me at the same time, if that makes any since at all. My emotions are changing I can tell that, but being with Tate helps them not go crazy at all, I am just worried about one of my emotions the most sure the others are bad at times but my anger is the worst and now I how have no idea how I am going to act if I get mad at all. Then there is the shifting into a wolf, I don't know if I will or not now and if I do will it hurt or what will it feel like. Then I would have to learn all of the pack members names and that was going to a lot of people to remember, I would have had to learn them anyways but now I have to learn there ranks in the pack and that was going to be hard also. Now I knew Tate's rank in the pack because of his parents and he would take over when they step down, but me on the other hand I have no idea what about myself, sure I should but I don't know how to help lead a pack, or anything about pack life. Now I do know there is other packs in the world, I mean if there is this one and the one that my dad is from there is more out there, and I'm guessing I will have to remember there names and that will make my life harder. And don’t forget about school how I am going to handle that with all the stress that comes with it now that I'm a werewolf, will I get really anger or brake down crying, I hope it is not any one of those.

All of a sudden I felt the car stop and it brought me back to reality. He had pulled into a parking lot with a sweet old house sitting in front of it, there was a spot with an sigh that said 'Alpha & Luna' on it, he pulled into it and turned the car. Was he sure this was a restaurant and not someone's home, because it looked like more like a house then a restaurant. I looked over at him "Are you sure this is a restaurant?" I asked him and he let out a light chuckle "Yes princess it is a restaurant and the food here good." He said to me, but I was not so sure myself, I would just have to see it. I've never seen a 'restaurant' like this before so it is new to me. "Now I'll be right over there so sit tight" He said as he got out of the car and came over to my side and opened my door "My Lady shall we go?" He asked me as he held out his hand to me and I took it with a smile on my face. He smiled as he led me side the restaurant, and it was truly one, I was shocked at the difference between the inside and outside. I looked around the restaurant, there was different sizes of tables with chairs around them and some of them was marked by rank in the pack, which was a little odd to me but oh well "Oh my goodness it smells so good in here." I said to him and he smiled at me "Yea it does princess." He said to me as he lead to a table in the front of the restaurant and it was marked for the Alpha & Luna of the pack. When we got to the table he pulled out a chair for me and I sat down in it then he went to the other side and sat down it a chair.
