Chapter 15

-Ruby’s POV-

After Tate marked me he picked me up and sit on my bed with me in his lap, and then he laid back pulling me down with him which I was okay with me. I felt darkness consumed me as I laid in Tate’s arms.

I wake up but I was not in my bedroom I was out in the forest and it was very sunny. I looked around “I was just with Tate in my bedroom.” I said to myself as I looked around, then I spotted a beautiful white wolf standing tall looking my way. The beautiful wolf started to walk to me and I noticed she had a black spot on her right front paw. I walked up to her as soon as she stopped half way, when I got to her she was at least five feet and eight inches tall, I looked at her “Who are you.” I asked her, I felt as if I had known her my whole life yet at the same time I didn’t know her. “My name is Rita” she said to me “I am you wolf, Ruby.” She added and I looked at her “T-Th-There is no why that is possible.” I said to her as I started to freak out “I am a human.” I said to her in a shaky voice “This is just a dream, I will wake up in Tate’s arms” I said to myself. Rita walked closer to me then she sat down on her hind legs “Hmm and here I thought you would be happy to meet me.” She said to me as she looked at me “W-wh-what do mean?” I asked her as I backed up against a tree “I have been with you, your whole life.” She said to me and that made me upset because before I moved here the guy I was dating was an ass whole, and so was the two girls that I thought was my friends, but the odd thing is I never trusted them at all. “Then why didn’t you come to me for now” I asked her “Because the Moon Goddess wouldn’t let me, I could only watch you.” She said to me and bit the inside of my jaw “What about all wolf art I did, and the mate mark on the girl in my art?” I asked Rita and she smirked “Just little hits and feelings about werewolves and mates.” She said to me and I looked at her “Then what about when I seen Tate?” I asked her as I crossed my arms “You fall head over hill for him when you seen him, the mate bond was a just there to strengthen the love.” She said to me and that I could believe, because he is so dang hot, and he is all mine “So about you being my wolf, how the hell is that?” I asked her and she stud up “You are part werewolf, you always have been just never knew it.” She said to me and I wanted to scream “That doesn’t really help me Rita.” I said to her “Ruby the Moon Goddess doesn’t tell us wolfs everything.” She said to me and I groaned at that “Hey be happy now that you’re a werewolf now.” She said to me and I couldn’t help but smile at that “Yea your right.” I said to her “I’ll talk to later.” She said to me and I was confused at that.

Then I heard three voices around my bed “My princess hasn’t woken up yet!” One of them growled, I knew the voice without looking at that the person. “Alpha, Ruby will be okay when she wakes up.” Someone else says and it sounds like my dad, he just made want to ask more questions. Then I felt someone get up off my bed “Ruby sweetie if you can hear us please wake up.” The third voice said and it sounded like my mom’s voice. My eyes slowly opened and the first person I saw was Tate “PRINCESS!” He said to me as I he hugged me tight “Prince I can’t breathe.” I said to him and he let me go and then my dad and mom both hugged me. “How long was I out?” I asked them “You were out for four hour baby girl.” My dad said to me and I looked at him “WHAT!!! FOUR HOURS!!” I said surprised yet again, that was the second one for the day, was I going to get another one, because they say ‘the third time is a charm’ so will see I guess. All three of them looked at me as I sat up on my bed; I looked at my dad and mom. “Dad, mom I need to talk to you both.” I said to them and they looked at each other and then at me “We can talk about anything my baby girl.” My dad said to me and I looked at him “I don’t want you and mom to lie to me.” I said to them “Why would we lie to you sweetie?” Mom asked me as I looked at her, I knew Tate was confused about was going on “What is going on princess?” Tate asked me as he pulled me into his lap “I meet my wolf.” I told him and he looked me “Your wolf?” He asked and I nodded my head “I don’t understand it how I can have a wolf.” I said him and my parents “I would like to know that.” I said as I looked at my dad and mom, and they looked at each other.

“Baby girl we can explain” Dad said to me and I looked at him “I’m all ears dad.” I said to him as I looked at him and mom “I’m a werewolf and your mom is human.” My dad said to me and I looked at him “You’re a werewolf dad?” I asked him “Yea I am baby girl.” He said to me “Then why leave your pack sir?” Tate asks him and my dad looks at my mom “Because I found my mate in the human town that was close to my pack.” He said to Tate who looked at my mom and then looked back at my dad “If you’re wondering about marking her, of course I did.” Dad said to Tate “Dad let me get this right, you are a werewolf?” I asked dad again “Yea I am sweetie.” He said to me “I never shifted after I meet moved to the human town.” He said and mom looked at him “That is not true dear.” She said to him and he got look on his face as if he was thinking “Oh yea, the night we brought Ruby home from the hospital.” Dad said and I looked at him with a confused looked on my face “Why did you shift then dad?” I asked him and he looked back at he “So my wolf whose name is Eli and he wanted meet you and rub his sent on you.” Dad said to me and as Tate held on to me “So how did you and mom meet?” I asked my dad as I looked at him “I was one of the packs warriors, but I was also in collage at the pack at the time,” Dad said “I told my Alpha that I meet mate but she was human, and he said that I could move in to the human town with my mate.” My dad said to me “What was your pack sir?” Tate asked my dad and my dad looked at Tate “The pack is called The River Moon the Alpha’s name is Ash.” He said to Tate “So you went from a pack warrior to an I.T guy?” Tate asked in disbelief “I was not in the pack anymore, so I had to have a way to provide for my mate.” He said to Tate as he pulled my mom close to him and rested his head on her shoulder ‘So that explains why dad always holds mom like that, and they are really happy together.’ I thought to myself as I looked at my dad and mom. “Dad I always wondered why you held mom in your arms like that” I said to him and mom smiled at me “Yea that is why sweetie.” She said to me and then I looked out the window “I still don’t get it how that I am a werewolf now.” I said but it was not at anyone “Baby girl you have always been a werewolf, but the gene never took over till now.” Dad said to me and I looked at him “Meaning?” I asked him “What I am talking about is that while I’m a werewolf and your mom is a human that makes you both baby girl.” Dad said to me as I listened and I noticed that Tate was listing too “But your human gene had taken over your wolf gene.” Dad said to me and mom put her hand his hand “When Eli smelled you he whined a bit, and I had asked him what was wrong, he said that you smelled more of a baby human then a pup, but he didn’t care about that.” Dad said to me “Then why did he whine dad?” I asked him and dad looked at mom and then looked at me “Because he was worried about you.” Dad said to me and I just looked at him “But as you grow, you surprised me, Eli and your mom. But who you really surprised the most was Eli.” Dad said to me “So what about my wolf Rita?” I asked and dad looked at me and noticed my mate mark from Tate on it “When Tate marked you, your wolf gene took over and now you’re a full a werewolf.” He said to me “So a dream… was never a dream.” I mumbled to no one, but Tate, dad, and mom looked at me “What? I always hoped and prayed they or we were real…” I said not knowing what to say and dad smiled at me “Sweetie just because you are a werewolf now doesn’t change who you really are.” He said to me and I looked at him “What do you mean?” I asked him “I mean that you are still you, the same girl that grow up loving herself for not taking s**t from anyone, that don’t deserve it, the same girl that like to go to the gym and train even when she is not mad.” Dad said smiling “Daddy you promised you wouldn’t tell anyone that last part.” I whined like a five year old and he smiled at me “Well you wasn’t going to tell him.” Dad said nodding Tate, “Sir you can call me Tate.” He said to my dad who nodded his head and I smiled.
