My Wish

Chapter 6

When the plane took off we had to buckle up for safety and it was really ruff, I was kind of

scared then but I calmed myself down by looking outside ‘Sliver Moon… Sliver Moon… I have heard of

that name before but where’ I thought to myself. It was going to bother me for awhile but I could think

while I was drawing so I got out my art pad and started to draw. This time I was drawing myself with a

pack of werewolves in human form, so it looked like a normal human drawing of just people, but it

wasn’t. ‘Sliver Moon… oh hell how the f**k could I forget they are the top game designers in the world,

and there is at least two restraints called Sliver Dinner Moon in each state, but something is off about

this, I better not think about.’ I thought to myself and told myself. We was able to walk around after

being in the air for awhile, and I had to go to the bathroom so I went in there and did my business then I

came back out. I sat back down and looked out the window, we was over the clouds which was cool.

About five hours later we was landing on an air port strip in Lawrence, Kansas the co-pilots voice

came back over the intercom “We have reached Lawrence, Kansas we would like to thank you again for

choosing Sliver Moon Air Line to travel and have a nice day.” He said and we unbuckled and grabbed our

carry-on bags. We walked off the plane it was dusk outside and I looked up at the sky ‘New home, new

town where I come.’ I thought to myself as I started to walk again, and I walked into the air port and

grabbed my luggage when I saw it, so did mom and dad. After we got our things, there was someone

meeting us there to show us where we were going to live at. We saw a guy in the distance who was

taller than some of the other people around him and he was holding up a sigh with our names on it, I

just rolled my eyes at that ‘So cheesy’ I thought to myself as I walked over to the guy with my parents.

When we got to him he smiled at us “Please follow me, I’ll take you home.” He said and my parents

looked at him “Pardon me, no offence but I thought we was driving our own car that to drove to the air

port.” Dad said and I looked at him and rolled my eyes “Sorry sir but your car isn’t here at the air port.”

The tall guy said to dad “Dad let’s just go with him, he is our way home and he know his way around

here.” I said to dad and my dad let out a sigh “Your right Ruby” Dad said and then looked up at the guy

“Sorry about that, we will come with you.” He said to him and the guy only nodded and started to walk

away, we followed him. I watched the guy walk and he gave off a vibe of one that would be on the

lowest rank any were and I let out a sigh and pinched the bridge of my nose as I thought. I froze for a

moment ‘I’ve never done that before but it felt so natural to me.’ I thought to myself and shook my

head as I started to walk again, I have no idea what is wrong with me, sure I wanted to started new but

that was a different type kind of new.

We walked outside and sitting there was a black 2021 limousine, I heard mom mumble

something about them loving black and I rolled my eyes her 1967 Chevy Impala was black so what was

the difference. The guy opened the door for us and we got in and then he closed the door once the

three of us was in the car, there was another guy putting our luggage in the trunk of this car, and then

they got into the car, and we was on our way. After driving through town for about half an hour we

turned and the road got bumpy and all you could see was trees. I looked up at the sky and the moon was

out now and I smiled, I heard my dad mumble something but I couldn’t make it out but whatever it was

mom agreed with him and I rolled my eyes at them. They was getting the normal human nerviness of

being in the forest but me on the other hand I had to keep bouncing in my seat because I was so happy

to be here. I’ve never felt afraid of the forest I’m not sure why but I just haven’t and now that I will be

around them I can take a walk in them like I did back home, mom and dad never knew I did it though. I

watched the trees after a ten minute drive through the forest bright city lights came into view and I

crossed my arms ‘Our house better be never next to the forest, the moon calms me down.’ I thought to

myself as the driver drove to a nice looking one story farm house that was close to the forest but it was

still in the lights of the town ‘At least there is the forest.’ I thought to myself as the car came to a stop

and the same guy that meets us at the air port opened the car door for us “Thanks.” Dad said to him and

he nodded his head only, I shook my head as I got out of the car “Thank you so much for picking us up at

the air port and bringing us here.” I said to him and he smiled and nodded his head then I picked my

stuff up out of the car and walked to the house. Dad rolled his eyes at me “Sassy girl.” He said and I let

out a sigh as he opened the door to the house “I’m being nice, try it dad.” I said to him and turned to me

“We are in the forest if you haven’t noticed.” He said to me and I smiled “I have noticed my lovely

father.” I said to him and picked up my luggage and walked up to my room. My room was facing the

forest and I was happy about that. I fell back on my bed and looked up “ON MY GOODNESS I HAVE A SKY

LIGHT!!!!” I screamed happily about a sky light, I could hear dad chuckle about that “GOOD NIGHT DAD

AND MOM!!!” I called to them but I didn’t hear a reply but I didn’t care because I was looking up at the

moon and smiling happily and I slowly fell asleep.
