REED'S MANSION
Cameroon walked into the kitchen, where his father was sipping coffee.
"Morning, son," Mr. Reed said, his eyes crinkling at the corners.
"Morning, Dad," Cameroon replied, pouring himself a cup of coffee.
"I trust you're aware of your plans for today?" Mr. Reed asked, his tone neutral.
Cameroon raised an eyebrow. "You mean with Ava?"
Mr. Reed nodded. "Yes, son. I want you to take her out and show her a good time. Get to know her."
"Dad, I don't think this is a good idea."
"I've already discussed this with Victoria, son. This is a business arrangement, and I expect you to cooperate." Mr Reed smiled.
Cameroon sighed, knowing he had no choice. "Fine, Dad. I'll take her out."
Mr. Reed nodded, "Good, son."
Cameroon left the mansion, his heart heavy. He didn't want to spend the day with Ava, but he knew he had to.
Ava was waiting for him outside, She smiled brightly as he approached.
"Good morning, Cameroon," she said, her voice cheerful.
Cameroon forced a smile. "Morning, Ava."
They walked to the car in silence, the tension between them awkward. Cameroon's eyes were fixed on the road as he drove, his jaw clenched in anger.
Ava, on the other hand, seemed oblivious to the tension. She chatted cheerfully, asking him questions about his interests and hobbies.
After a while, Cameroon turned off the main road and onto a route that wound its way up a hill.
"Where are we going?"
Cameroon smiled, a plan forming in his mind. "Somewhere cool,"
As they reached the top of the hill, Cameroon pulled over and turned off the engine. They sat in silence for a moment, the only sound the trailing engine.
Then, without a word, Cameroon got out of the car and walked around to Ava's side. He opened the door and offered her his hand.
"Come out," he ordered trying to act nice.
Ava's eyes narrowed, but she took his hand, and he pulled her out of the car. As she walked out she could clearly see they were at a hotel. Just then Cameroon's voice interrupted her.
"Let's get one thing straight," he said, his voice low and husky. "I'm not interested in you, Ava. And I'm definitely not going to marry you."
Ava's face fell, but she quickly regained her composure. "I see," she said, her voice cool.
Cameroon smiled. "Good. Now, hope you'll know your place after today"
And with that, he turned and walked away, leaving Ava to follow him.
They walked in silence, the tension between them awkward. Cameroon led her to a secluded spot inside the hotel, where a private table was set up.
Ava's eyes widened as she took in the spread before her. "Wow, this is incredible."
Cameroon turned to her “I'm glad you like it." He said forcing a smile.
As they sat down, Cameroon's phone buzzed. He glanced at the screen and frowned.
"Sorry, I have to take this," he said, getting up and walking away.
Ava watched him go, a mixture of confusion and curiosity on her face.

AUSTIN'S OFFICE
Austin was checking the CCTV footage when he saw Cameroon enter with a girl. He raised an eyebrow, intrigued.
"Who's that?" he wondered aloud.
Just then, Maddie walked in, and a smirk spread across his lips.
"Austin, I need to talk to you," she said, her voice firm.
Austin looked up, a hint of surprise on his face. "What's up, Maddie?"
But before Maddie could respond, Austin's phone buzzed. He glanced at the screen and smiled.
"Perfect timing," he said, his eyes sparkling with amusement. "Maddie, I need you to go to private room 7 and serve the couple that just arrived."
Maddie looked at him confused, but she nodded. "Got it."
As she walked out of the office, Austin's eyes followed her.
“Let's see what that blonde guy you chose over me... Is hiding” he muttered.
✨ PRIVATE ROOM 7 ✨
The room was elegantly decorated, with a large window that offered a stunning view of the city. The table was set with fine china and crystal glasses, and a bottle of champagne was chilling in an ice bucket.
Maddie's eyes scanned the room, taking in the couple seated at the table. Her heart skipped a beat as she recognized Cameroon, the guy she had kissed at school. And he was sitting with...A girl?
Her eyes narrowed as she tried to process the scene before her. What was Cameroon doing with her? And why did he look so...comfortable with her?
The girl looked up and caught Maddie's eye, a bright smile spreading across her face. "Hi. I'm Ava!" she said, waving at Maddie.
Maddie forced a smile, trying to play it cool. "Hi," she replied, her voice neutral. "Welcome to Lee's Suite and Hotel. I'll be your server today."
There was something about the voice that sounds familiar... And Cameroon couldn't help but to see who it was.
And that was the moment Cameroon looked up, his eyes locking onto Maddie's. For a moment, they just stared at each other.
Maddie just stared at him blankly her mind racing with questions. What was Cameroon doing here with Ava? And why did he seem so...familiar with her?
She pushed aside her thoughts and focused on her job, taking their orders and serving them with a professional smile.
“All guys are play boys” she muttered walking out of the room, Maddie couldn't help but feel neglected. What was going on between Cameroon and Ava? And why did she feel like she was stuck in the middle of it all?
She sighed, shaking her head as she walked back to the kitchen. She had a job to do, and she couldn't let her personal feelings get in the way.
BACK IN THE ROOM 🦋
“Damn!“ Cameroon cursed inwardly glaring at Ava. He was literally at the verge of killing someone right now.
“Let's go?“ He ordered making Ava jolt in fear.
“What.. we ha..“ Ava tried to speak but Cameroon interrupted her.
“I said let's go!“ With that he stood up leaving a black card on the table and walked out angrily with Ava behind him.

AUSTIN'S OFFICE
Austin sat still, staring at his computer as an evil smile crept across his lips.
“Perfect” he smiled.
“Sooner or Later Maddie would be mine!“ He added resting his back on his chair.
LATE AT NIGHT: 10:40PM
✨ AVERY'S ROOM ✨
“Gosh pick up! Pick up!“ Avery muttered in frustration walking around her room.
And just as she was about to give up.... The line came alive with a husky voice sounding from the other end.
“Hello ma'am... It's was l..“
“Have you done it?“ Avery interrupted and the person at the other end sigh.
“Yh ma'am... And there are no traces of him or the CCTV footage. I got rid of him for real”
Avery smiled, “Good now, let me see who gonna catch me now” she said laughing and the person on the other end joined her.
After a moment she then stopped laughing her expression turning serious. “ Remember.. don't let anyone know about this” she warned and without wasting time.. the line went dead.
Avery then walked slowly to her bed smiling brightly as she lay there.
“They're gone for good” she muttered smiling.
MONDAY 7:00am at;
✨ CLIFFORD HIGH ✨
The early morning breeze moved swiftly around the school.. the type that will want to make you sleep on the bare floor and enjoy nature. There stood Maddie and Cameroon staring at each other while few students stood watching them.
👤 “Are they gonna fight?“ Someone said.
“Leave me alone!“ Maddie yelled. This was the second time she said these words that same moment.
But Cameroon held her wrist afraid to let her go. He had come earlier that morning just to explain to Maddie about the previou day but seems she wasn't having it.
“Cam! I hate speeches, so if you would kindly..“
Maddie's words were interrupted with a kiss from Cameroon and her eyes widened in shock.
👤 “Again?“
👤 (Gasp)” What the hell?“
“What did this guy take me for?“ Maddie thought.
His lips moved abruptly on Maddie's lips sending shivers down her spine. And for a moment she wanted to close her eyes and forget the world around her but then she pushed him aside landing a slap on his face.
“Are you nuts?“ She screamed like he could answer her.
And that was the moment Cameroon had it, he simply took her hands pulling her to the back of the cafeteria with Maddie still struggling to get free from his grasp.
“Will you just stop it already” Maddie sigh. She hated the way he was pulling her.
But Cameroon didn't answer instead he turned his face to the opposite direction.
“Maddie...“ A husky deep voice sounded sending shivers down her spine and Maddie spun around to see who was calling but saw no one.
“It's me Maddie” The same voice sounded from Cameroon's direction and Maddie turned slowly to him.
“Was... It you?“ She stammered and Cameroon nodded.
“See Maddie... What you saw that day..“ Cameroon began but it seems Maddie wasn't hearing a word he said. There was something about his voice that made her stare at him. He had the voice every girl would drawn for.
Maddie's eyes locked onto Cameron's, her heart racing with anticipation. They stood facing each other, the tension between them awkward.
"You're...you're not mute," Maddie stammered, her voice barely above a whisper.
Cameron's expression remained neutral, "No, I'm not."
"Why did you pretend to be?" she asked, curioused.
Cameron shrugged, his shoulders barely rising off his chest. "It was easier that way."
Maddie's eyes narrowed. "Easier? What do you mean?" She asked him.
But he took a step closer, his voice dropping to a whisper. "I wanted to see if people would like me for who I truly am, not for my wealth or status."
Maddie's gaze searched his, looking for any sign of deception. But all she saw was sincerity.
"I don't understand," Maddie said "Why would you do that?
"Because I wanted to find someone who would love me for real."
Maddie's heart skipped a beat as she processed Cameron's words.
"What else is he hiding and who is he?" She thought inwardly.
Was it possible that this guy had been searching for something genuine all along?
