“Alice... You're home” Maddie shuttered. She was surprised to see her mom home that early knowing fully well her mom closes at midnight.
“Where's your sister?“ Alice asked without throwing her a glance.
“Oh, she's with her friends”
“Maddie do you even care for your little sister?“ Alice asked and Maddie raised an eyebrow.
“She's not little” she muttered sitting on the couch and running her hands through her messy hair.
“You're older than her... And she'll always be your little sister. Have some heart Maddie. Why do you keep making me cry everyday” her mom said with a shaky voice.
“I was fired! I was fired from my job of three years Maddie. All because of your disrespect”
She added and Maddie gasp.
She knew Austin wouldn't let her go Scott free. And now she knew what he had done.
Austin had called Alice earlier telling her Maddie was the reason she got fired.

“Shut up!“ Alice shouted angrily. This was the first time she had shouted on Maddie.
“You did so by putting my job at risk?“ Alice asked.
“You didn't even think twice..“ she added and began to cry.
“Mom, what's going on?“ Amanda asked rushing in. She had just heard her mom's loud voice outside.
“Mom, answer me” she said and then turned to Maddie who had her head bent low.
“I g..ot fired” Alice shuttered finally breaking the bombshell and Amanda gasp.

“You should be asking your sister.... Why she had to disrespect Mr Lee” Alice said and Amanda glared at Maddie.
“It's not my fault okay!“ Maddie said as she walked to her room acting like she didn't care. But deep down she was pained as her lips trembled.

A man and a woman, sat across the dinning room with only the sound of utensils and clicking of plates was be heard.
Just then someone walked in and drew out a chair to sit. Afterwards he began to dish his food and the woman cleared her throat.
“Son,..“ she began and the boy threw her a look.
“Were you at school today?“ She asked but the boy smirked.
“Yh mom. Why would you be asking me that?“
“I knew it!“ Someone shouted angrily slamming the table.
“Honey, calm down” The woman who seem to be his wife muttered and he glared at her.
“Did you fire Alice?“ He asked turning to the boy but he didn't respond.
“Did you or did you not fire Alice today?“ He asked this time more angry than ever.
“Dad it's my hotel.. And you can't tell me what to do with it” the boy said and his dad scoffed.
“Interesting.. your hotel! We will see after today..... Get Alice to work back there within this five hours else....“ He said and then stood up leaving the dinning room.
“And increase her pay” he added before finally leaving.
“Mr Lee can I get yo...“ A feminine voice spoke but Mr Lee walked past her. And she bowed her head in shame.

“You're coming for dinner or what?“ Amanda asked removing Maddie's headphone.
“No” Maddie whispered putting her headphone back on her ear.
“You're just gonna stay there... Listen to music... Only caring about yourself!“ Amanda shouted loudly before leaving Maddie's room. And she smiled weakly.

“Ma'am here” A lady dressed in a blue gown which stopped below her knees said as she handed jasmine a RD's shopping bag filled with what she had ordered.
“Okay... here you can keep the change” jasmine muttered throwing the lady a black card.
“Thanks.. thank you” the lady kept screaming and jasmine scoffed.
Just then someone walked in and all the staff members around froze as if they have seen a ghost. Jasmine was busy with her phone and didn't notice him come in. Suddenly she bumped into him.
Out of rage she looked up ready to curse whoever it was but then her eyes widened in shock.
“Damric Reed?“ She called and he raised an eyebrow.
“Wow, nice to meet you. My name is jas...“
“Everyone knows your name. Jasmine langlin!“ He said as he glared at the staff members who retreated to their position immediately.

“UHM, why don't we go to a more quite place and talk” jasmine suggested totally forgetting about her shopping bag.
Damric nodded immediately and jasmine smiled holding his hand tightly as they walked out.

“What were you doing at the shopping mall today?“ Jasmine asked sipping her cup of coffee.
“To shop?“ Damric replied raising an eyebrow.
“Really, no one has seen you in a long time”

Damric muttered and jasmine looked at him thoughtfully.
“Sister? You had a sister?“ She asked.
“Yh. I have a brother too”
“What? How come no one ever saw you guys?“ Jasmine asked and Damric smirked.
“What's their name?“ She asked.
“My brother's name is Cam” Damric muttered.
“Cam? What about your sister... What's her name? And what happened to her?“ Jasmine asked glancing at him.
“She was shot by.... Never mind she was shot. That's all, and has been in a coma for three months now..” Damric said and after a long pause he continued.

Just as rumors began to spread, jasmine wasn't aware of his arrival and she guessed it was Austin.
“Is this even a manicure?“ Jasmine asked angrily at a junior student who was painting her toe fingers. She was the only one in class with the junior students.
“I'm so..rry" the girl shuttered and jasmine hissed and turned to continue with her phone.

Suddenly she heard the girl scream and afterwards ran out leaving her furious.

Taking a veiw out the window, she peeped through to see if she could call another student but then her eyes caught someone.
“Damric?“ She muttered and quickly looked at her self in the mirror before she finally went outside.

As Jasmine drew closer to Damric, she could see him clearly. He wore a sleek black shirt that fit him perfectly, paired with loose-fitting trousers.
A pair of wire-rimmed glasses sat lightly on his face, and his hair was styled with the top portion neatly packed. Just inches away, a sudden collision occurred.
Cecelia, seemingly oblivious, bumped into Damric, and he instinctively wrapped his arms around her to steady her.

“Wow, people said you were so humbe and I didn't believe until now...“ Damric muttered and Cecelia smiled turning back to leave but saw jasmine standing right in front of her.
“Enjoy your win while it last” Jasmine whispered and walked back to class angrily.

“Okay, enough pictures for today” Austin muttered glancing at Maddie who had her headphone on her ear. A smirk the spread across his lips as he stood and strode towards her.

“We need to talk outside” Austin said and Maddie looked at him. She had no music playing in her headphone and heard what Austin said.

“Are you happy now.. Austin. You fired her” Maddie said interrupting him and he glanced at her.
“Well, that's why I call you here” Austin said and Maddie turned to him.

“I could return her job....“
“You can? “ Maddie asked. At least she was grateful that Alice won't be mad at her forever.
“Yes... Under one condition” Austin muttered with a smirk on his face. He knew ways to get Maddie closer to him.
“What...t condition?“ Maddie shuttered.
“You have to take the job” Austin said finally dropping the bombshell.
“What? Hell no. I won't” Maddie said angrily about to walk out but then Austin held her wrist.
“Think of your mom, your sister.... Have you given it a second thought?“
Maddie thought about it for a while but she didn't want to work under Austin.
Part of her was telling her to accept and while the other part was telling her to reject and at last she rejected.
“I'm not going to work under you! I'm not” she growled and walked out angrily.
“You'll come begging. You'll.....“ Austin said with a smirk on his face.
