The car stopped outside a small, hidden cabin in the deep woods. The headlights cut through the dark trees, showing a simple wooden door. Benedict opened my car door, his scarred face looking serious. "We can't go back to the city. Gideon's remaining guys are watching the main roads. We stay here tonight." "Help me with him," I said, my legs shaking as I tried to move out from under Cassian's heavy head. Benedict and another guard grabbed Cassian, lifting him out of the back seat.
