Rose walked into her fiancé’s apartment and was surprised to see him at home
“Hey baby…I thought you were working late tonight,” she exclaimed as she stepped further into the cozy living room.
Michael looked up from the book he was reading on the couch and grinned. “I was, but I managed to get off early tonight. Want to join me for a cup of tea?”
Rose nodded, relieved to have the chance to spend time with him. She smiled as she settled down beside him. He quickly hands her a cup of tea. “It’s quite hot, handle with care”. He tells her.
“Thanks honey”. She replies, smiling so hard.
“Why are you smiling?” He asked, bewildered by her countenance.
“I’m happy”. She answers simply.
“Any good news you want to share?” He inquires curiously.
“You tell me. You’re being so sweet”. She retorts
