“What’s wrong Lisa?” Rose asks the minute she sees Lisa step out of Derek’s room. Her expression was moody, and got her worried.
“Nothing, I just want to go home”. Lisa answers and heads for the door.
“Calm down Lisa. What did Derek do to upset you?” Rose persisted. “Sit with me”. She gestures her to a couch in the living room. Lisa hesitates by the door, before reluctantly doing as Rose has requested.
“Talk to me”. Rose continues as they both take their sit.
“I have feelings for Derek”. She opens up quietly.
“Lisa! Despite everything I told you?” Rose shrieks in shock.
“The heart wants what it wants”. Lisa says in her defence.
“But you know he’ll eventually break your heart”.
“Don’t worry, the worst has already happened. He doesn’t want a relationship with me”. Lisa tells her.
