Once Rose got to the apartment, she saw Derek sitting comfortably in the living room. Without wasting much time, she hurries to tell him about Michael's confession. Derek unfazed by the news, tries to calm her down, obviously seeing she was hurting.
"Calm down Rose." He says, standing up and pulling her into his arms.
"Why are you unfazed about it?" she asks hysterically.
"That's because I know," Derek answers.
She quickly slips out of his embrace and looks at him with astonishment. "You knew?"
"Yes." He says affirmatively, "Would you believe him if he said he didn't have any feelings for Lisa?"
