AURORA'S POV: Cali’s honk blasts through the house like a war cry. I flinch, nearly spilling my cereal, which I wasn’t even planning to eat in the first place. I glance down at the half-soggy mess and push the bowl away. My stomach has no room today, just only nerves and stupid questions. I grab my phone and shuffle toward the door, hoodie sleeves swallowed around my fingers. Another honk.
