AURORA'S POV: (Before the poisoning) It’s been five days since Ariel arrived at Clarence High, and already she walks the halls like she owns them. Everywhere I go, she’s there. Flashing her perfect teeth in that overly sweet smile. Flicking her silky black hair over her shoulder like she’s in some shampoo commercial. Laughing too loud at things that aren’t funny. And worst of all - clinging to Arc like her life depends on it. Stupid fool. I can’t look away, and I hate that I care.
