AURORA'S POV: The sunlight filters through the thin curtains, soft and golden, brushing across my skin like a whisper. It’s too warm for the early morning, almost heavy, clinging to the sheets that are twisted around my legs. The room is quiet... so quiet I can hear my own heartbeat echoing in my ears.
