Darian folded his hands across his chest. “Let me guess, this was a trick by that old eagle?”
“No,” she replied. “It was a test. Darian, did you learn anything from this experience?”
He did, “I don’t want to talk about it right now. I just want to find my friend. Show me where he is and we can be on our merry way.”
The winged woman pointed her hands northwards, “You will find Noel in the Cave of Darkness. You will have to fight the great tyrant if you want to get your friend back.”
Darian began walking towards that path without saying thank you. He was angry at the eagle for making up Failure Village, and making him go through all the stress to set the people free.
“Be careful of the great tyrant. He has a mega weapon that hardly ever fails,” the winged woman said again. Darian waved
