April's POV
Lucas and I walked hand in hand through fields and forest until we got to the lake. This was where I was going to shift for the first time and I was absolutely crapping myself.
"It's ok to be nervous April. I was."
What a load of B.S! He was a big bad Alpha and there was no way he was shaking in his shoes like I was right now.
"Thank you. I wonder if being a healer will help?" I certainly hoped so.
