April's POV
It would be the worlds biggest understatement to say that I wasn't really in the mood for singing. Lucas lay dead behind where I was kneeling but you can't really say no to your own Goddess.
"You may stand now April" She told me in her sing song voice. It was the loveliest sound I think I'd ever heard. I could listen to it for the rest of my life. I got up from the floor and for the first time noticed what sort of state I was in. I was still in my PJ's as I hadn't gotten changed before I got kidn*pped, I was mired in Lucas's blood and my wrists were still painful from the cuffs earlier. I was a complete mess.
"Please forgive my disheveled look Moon Goddess. It's been a really rough afternoon"
She didn't say anything, she just smiled. She was the Mother of our entir
