Lucas’s POV
I sat on the sofa watching April sleep peacefully on our bed. When we’d got home from the hospital I’d insisted that she ate until she was physically unable to move. She was so hungry she didn’t argue which made me so happy I wanted to yell from the to of the pack house! Carrying an Alpha took a toll on the mother so she needed to eat more than she ever had done. She didn't eat much so to see her eat almost as much as me was a joy to behold. If I could get her eating as much as my younger brother did I could officially stop worrying. About that at least!
