I woke from my afternoon siesta feeling relaxed, refreshed and Hungry - Again!
I looked around the room and realised that I was on my own. I missed my mate when he wasn’t near by. I’d never really considered myself a clingy sort of girl. I just felt much better when Lucas was near. As much as I’d like to blame it all on the mate bond I knew that a lot of it was down to me. I loved him deeply.
I struggled out of bed and shuffled out of the bedroom. Lucas wasn’t in our apartment anywhere. I figured I'd check his office and then carry on downstairs to find something to snack on.
