The moon hung high in the sky, playing peekaboo with the slimming storm. The wind is still howling like a million wolves outside the window. The silence in the air is still hanging thicker than malicious, but it does not compare to the overwhelming feeling stirring in my stomach. As we drove further into the mountains, the trees grew denser. There was truly going to be no escape for me from this.
