"I don't think we've been introduced yet," Callum said as soon as we sat down at the table, with a slimy grin that received no response. "Callum Thorne."
"Alec Grant, Alpha of the Opal Lake pack," Alec replied. "This is my wife and Luna, Helena, and my Beta, Liam."
"Interesting" Callum commented. Then he planted his eyes on me again. "You didn't bring my heirs with you - this is saddening. I would have liked to meet them."
"We didn't find it necessary to further inconvenience our children's lives," Liam replied, swirling the wine in his glass. A calculated move.
