THE NEXT DAY
Keshika is at Vihaan’s home once again. She is surprised to find him looking a bit dreamy.
KESHIKA - How are you now?
He looks over at her quietly. And as he does, everything comes flooding back to him. The mission, the escape, the rain, the kiss… He can’t get over the adult Keshika he’d seen. She was gorgeous. Divine. Elegant.
KESHIKA - What? Why are you looking at me like that?
VIHAAN - I’m sorry.
KESHIKA – What? For what?
VIHAAN - I was an asshole. A bully. I could have been a bit better.
When she gets it, she smirks and straightens proudly, with an air of attitude…
KESHIKA - It’s okay.
VIHAAN - From now on, you can play as much as you want. I won’t stop you.
KESHIKA - (excited) Really?
VIHAAN - Yup.
KESHIKA - Why the big change suddenly?
VIHAAN - Because---
He doesn’t know what to say. Quietly, he leans in, pecks her on the cheek and pulls back to look at her.
She ogles at him, completely dumbfounded.
He flashes his naughty grin and yanks her cheeks like always, but gentler.
VIHAAN – I love you, yaar.
Saying that, he runs away, leaving her wonderstruck.
THAT NIGHT
Vihaan sits down to play another game of Rendezvous. It all feels so different now… and eerie.
He finds his boys on the screen again – Alpha 1, 2, Charlie 1 and 2. Is he ready for another mission? What if I get trapped in the game again? I don’t want to be separated from my family and Keshika again!
To his surprise, Alpha 2 winks at him.
