He meets Keshika’s dark, sparkling eyes for the first time and is awe struck. Am I dreaming? Is this really her?
No one recognizes him. But he does – he recognizes his parents, his grandmother and the other two, now adults, his cousin Dhruv and Keshika.
He hobbles to them quickly and begins to untie them.
VIHAAN - Everyone calm down. It’s me, Vihaan. I’m getting you out of here.
MOM - (smiling happily) Vihaan?
VIHAAN – Ma!
PAPA - What’s all this, son? What’s happening?
VIHAAN - Long story Papa. I’ll explain once we get home.
As soon as his mother is undone, she hugs and kisses him.
MOM - (tearfully) Oh thank God! Thank God!
VIHAAN – Shh. Calm down. I’m here now. You’ll be fine. Trust me.
Keshika watches him with fascination glowing in her eyes. Vihaan? I don’t believe it… he’s barely recognizable. Who would have ever thought that he would grow from an irritating little pest into a charming, chiselled stallion? Moreover, he even “feels” different. He seems to have “softened” up. He doesn’t seem to be that inconsiderate little brat anymore! And… he looks so handsome! Who’d have ever thought he’d become something like this?
Vihaan is at Keshika now, kneeling as he unties her hands and feet. Then, their eyes meet once again.
Memories come flooding back to them – their cat fights, their moments spent together. They realize that though there were moments that they hated each other and didn’t want to talk ever again, they did miss each other terribly! In fact, they never wanted to be apart ever!
Vihaan gives a soft smile that instantly makes her blush.
VIHAAN: (undoes her feet) What?
KESHIKA: (nods) Nothing. (spots the wound on his leg and arm) You’re hurt!
VIHAAN: I’ll be alright. We need to get out of here fast.
An audible gasp alerts Vihaan.
Keshika looks up in horror.
Before he can react, the barrel of a g*n prods him at the back of his head.
