The Approval

The next day, the three met again at school. When James saw Wendell, he immediately approached him. "Bro, let's talk", James asked his friend. There was no emotion on Wendell's face, he just looked at him and suddenly left without even speaking. James and Romela were left disappointed. When the two entered the classroom, Ivory immediately approached them. "So, when are you going to tell Wendell and me about your relationship"? Ivory said angrily. "Let's talk outside, not here", James told the girl. Ivory followed the young man. Romela was left and her tears were suddenly about to fall. It was really difficult for all of them because of what was happening, but she only had one thing in mind for that moment; he wanted to talk to his friend Wendell.

"Ivory, I didn't mean to love Romela .. It was not her fault. I was the first to approach her", James began. "I thought I would learn to love you, because you make me happy sometimes and you are the first woman who dares to tease me and even court me" added James. "But when I met Romela, I felt something different about her and I can't lose her" James said calmly. " How about me? I love you James! I can't give you up!” cried the girl. "I don't deserve you Ivory.. I'm sorry!" James said sadly. “ Ok, if that's what you want.. but what about Wendell, your best friend? You two are like brothers but you still managed to love the girl he loves!" Ivory wants him to feel guilt. Wendell entered his mind again, he wanted to try to talk to him again.

"Wendell, can I talk to you please?" said Romela when she saw her friend alone. The young man didn't move, he wanted to drive his friend away, but his love for the girl still dominated him. "Why did you fool me, Romela? and why is my best friend?" Wendell seemed to be crying. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to fall in love with James, please forgive me, I don't want to lose you!" the girl asked his friend, "You go choose between the two of us, me or James? Our friendship or your relationship with him?" Wendell seemed to be delirious, asking Romela. "Please, don't do this, don't choose me over the two of you!" cried the girl. Wendell didn't seem to hear anything and walked away from his friend. But before he got far, he suddenly turned around and saw Romela crying. He ran back to the girl and suddenly hugged her. "That's enough, let's go .. I don't want to see you cry, I'll try to forget how I feel about you" said

Wendell. "Thank you!" said Romela, hugging her friend.

When the class ended, Wendell himself approached James. "Let's talk, over there at our hangout" he said seriously to his friend. James immediately followed and went to the place where he and Wendell often hang out. "I will go straight to the point, I don't want to see Romela crying and I don't want her to be hurt", Wendell began. "I'm leaving her to you James.." he added while smiling at his friend. James was very happy and hugged his friend. "I'll assure you that I will take care of and love Romela very much", James promised. James immediately told Romela the good news, which made the girl happy.

"I'm so happy because Wendell has finally accepted us," Romela said enthusiastically. " That's right, I also don't want to ruin our friendship with Wendell, so I talked to him, if I had to kneel before him for his approval, I would do it" said James smiling. " I will do everything for you Romela, and for the relationship of the two of us" added the young man. The two walked home hand in hand. James suddenly stopped walking and faced Romela. "Wait, so does this mean the two of us are now official?" the young man asked the girl. "Yes, official, but without my parents' approval." Romela said sadly. "Let it go, Im sure the day will come when your parents will allow you to have a relationship" said James. "For the meantime, let's just be like this, let's enjoy each other's company" said the young man smiling. " Do you want to go to my house? Maybe we can have dinner there tonight? James asked Romela. The girl immediately agreed and they happily went to James' house.

When they arrived at James's house, the young man was suddenly surprised because his parents had come home from America. James immediately introduced his girlfriend Romela to his mom and dad. James' parents welcomed him warmly. While they were eating, they kept asking Romela questions. They seemed happy and interested in the girl. After eating, the girl politely said goodbye because her mother would look for her. James said goodbye and asked his parents' permission if he could take Romela home. His parents said yes, so they walked hand in hand going to Romela's house.“ Did you enjoy tonight's dinner with my parents babe? The young man said to the girl with a smile. "Babe? So, that is our endearment? Yes, babe, I enjoyed it, so much, your parents are kind and very thoughtful”, Romela said happily. "Thanks babe, and I love you so much!" squeezed Romela's nose.
