Confession

Romela has arrived at their house but she still can't get over what she saw earlier. She was confused by her feelings. She thinks that James has feelings for her because he shows interest in her. But what did she see earlier? That night Romela could not sleep. The next day, she woke up early and got ready to go to school. While she was walking, she saw James. She immediately avoided him and even crossed the other way so that they wouldn't be in the same way. James saw Romela's avoidance and thought about avoiding her too and just focused on her relationship with Ivory because that was the right thing to do.

"Romela, I brought some chocolates..that's from my aunt from America" ​​said Wendell when he saw her sitting down in her chair. "Thank you!" he smiled at the young man. Romela thought that maybe she should give Wendell a chance and allow him to court her. "Wendell, let's talk later in the cafeteria" said Romela. Wendell just nodded, he had no idea what Romela was planning. When the two were in the cafeteria, Romela immediately noticed that James and Ivory were also there. She pretended that she didn't see them and immediately looked for an empty table for her and Wendell. "What do you want to say? I'm nervous", immediately asked by the young man". "I'm ready, I'm accepting you to be my suitor", Romela said, smiling. “Really? Are you kidding? Thank you!” Wendell said happily while taking Romela's hand. James saw what happened at Romela's table and he knew, based on Wendell's reaction, that the girl had already let him court her. James seemed to lose his appetite for food, so he decided to say goodbye to Ivory and said that he wanted to go back to the classroom and excuse himself because he felt unwell.

When Wendell saw his friend James leaving the cafeteria, he immediately chased after him to tell him the good news. "Bro, Romela let me be her suitor! Isn't it good news!” Wendell said excitedly. "I'm happy for you bro", James said while patting Wendell on the shoulder. "I'm going to go back in the classroom, I feel a little bad", James lied. Since then, Wendell and Romela have always been seen together. It was late at night when Romela came home from school because she had some projects to finish. When he got close to their street, he saw a familiar man waiting for him in the dark. It was James, he seemed to be waiting for the girl. “James? Why are you here? Are you waiting for me? What do you need?" Romela asked one after another. "So you just let my friend court you" said James. Romela just nodded. "Romela, I hope you don't use my friend to avoid me, please?" James begged.

"Why would I do that? Why do I have to avoid you? Romela answered. "Then why do I feel like you're just using Wendell to get away from me", James said boldly. “ Wait, am I the one avoiding? Am I the one who suddenly doesn't notice anymore? So, what do you want me to do between you and your girlfriend? Or maybe you want to date us at the same time?” Romela answered with a raised voice. " Not like that, Romela, I have a girlfriend, yes, but I like you!" James confessed to the girl. Romela was surprised and could not speak. "I didn't want to see you and Wendell happy, even more so when I found out that you're his girlfriend!". "I like you very much Romela, I really do". The girl's tears suddenly flowed upon hearing what James confessed. She wanted to say that she also liked James but her conscience stopped her. "James, it's late, go home.. this is not right.. you know we should stop talking!" Romela said while turning her back and walked away from James.

Romela, who was at home, noticed the heavy rain outside the window. James's confession is still in her mind. She wants to forget the young man for Wendell, who she knows loves her very much. It's not right for her to love him. James was caught by heavy rain on his way home . When he arrived at their house his clothes were very wet. "Sir, what happened to you? Why do you let yourself get wet in the rain? Their housekeeper asked. The young man's parents are not there, they are both in America working there. Only maids are with him in their big house. When James got to his room, his tears suddenly began to flow. He really can't afford to lose Romela. He loves the girl but he doesn't know how to tell his girlfriend Ivory.

The next day, they have a group activity. Romela suddenly notices that James is not there. The girl thought back about what had happened last night. " What are we gonna do? James is the only one who is good at doing this project?" The leader of their group said worriedly. "Isn't it Romela that your house is close to James's?, maybe you can go to him to finish this activity of ours" she added. All his group mates were looking at her as if they were begging her, so she couldn't do but to agree. Romela rang the doorbell at James' house. Their maid immediately came out and asked Romela. "What is that? who are you looking for?" asked the maid. "Is James there?" Romela answered. "Yes, he's in his room, come in." Romela was immediately let into the house and the girl saw how beautiful James's house was. "Just wait a moment and I will call Sir James" said the maid smiling. "Alright, please tell him that I'm here, I'm Romela". Romela wandered her eyes when the maid suddenly came back to say "Miss Romela, according to Sir James, you may go upstairs and go straight to his room."
