John and Romela kept their relationship a secret, especially from the girl's parents. Because they don't know how to say it, especially in Romela's family. But John gradually informed his family that he had a relationship with Romela, which immediately pleased his family. They are always careful that no one sees them together. When they want to talk alone, they go to John's house. Because Mrs. Zild found out that Romela was working at a fast food chain, she immediately told her to stop and tell her to tutor John's cousin. His father's brother temporarily left the child with them to work in another country. Romela agreed and she tutored the kid and took care of him when John's parents were away. "What time will you finish teaching? Romela?" asked John. "Maybe, just a few minutes more why?" answered the girl. "Let's watch a movie here at home", her boyfriend asked her. "Okay, let me just finish this" Romela said, smiling.

While they were watching the movie, his cousin was in the arms of John, who had fallen asleep. Romela told him not to move so the child wouldn't wake up. "How can I? I want to hug you", John joked to the girl. The girl did not say anything, she just hugged the man while he turned his back to her. "There, I'm the one who hugged you" Romela said, smiling. The relationship between the two was good. Until the girl finished high school and was in college. Romela became a scholar at the college she attended because her grades were high and she graduated as class salutatorian. His father is very proud because he knows what his daughter has been through. But the mother still treats her the same way, nothing has changed. Romela's course is a Bachelor of Business Administration Major in Financial Management. Because she and John dream of having a business one day. John and Romela had been in a relationship for more than two years when her mother found out about the two of them.

"Carmela, do you know that your daughter Romela has a relationship with John?" asked one of their neighbors. "Huh? Where did you get that news, Mrs. Sam?” Carmela seemed to ask worriedly. "My son saw them in a restaurant, he also saw them holding hands the next day", she told Romela's mother. " Isn't that John much older than your daughter? There is a big gap between the two of them. If I were yours while it's still early, cut anything between the two of them" added Mrs. Sam. Carmela's face suddenly turned red with anger and she suddenly told the person she was talking to that she had to go home. She caught up with her daughter who was studying. " Hey Romela! tell the truth, are you and John in a relationship?” she asked her daughter. Surprised, Romela immediately replied "No, who did you know that from, mom?" Maybe she was mistaken. " Mrs. Sam told me that his son saw you! It's a shame! You're so young, the one you chose to love is actually older than you!" Carmela shouted. “From now on you will not go to the Zilds! After your class, go straight home! Is it clear? Don't you dare disobey me, Romela!” said the mother angrily.

The young woman wanted to cry from what she heard from her mother, although she knew that it would come to a point where she would know about their relationship, but she was not ready for her mother's reaction. Romela secretly called her boyfriend to tell her to meet her after her class. John is currently at home. His parents do not oblige them to work because they have businesses. This is one of the reasons why Carmlea doesn't like John. Many people say that maybe when John inherits their family's businesses, they will lose money because he only plays basketball.

"My mother already knows about our relationship and she is against it.. So what are we gonna do now?" the girl asked her boyfriend. "I will talk to Carmela not to hinder our relationship because we love each other" answered John. "You can't say that because I said it's not true that we have a relationship, because I don't know how to explain to her, I'm afraid she might just lock me up at home and stop me from studying," said the girl. Romela's tears that she had been holding back started to flow. Her boyfriend, John, felt sorry for her situation but there was nothing he could do. "Let me, I will find a way to make your mother like and accept me. Please don't cry" said John to his girlfriend while hugging her. The two plans are that they should not meet from now on. They can only communicate through text, chat or secret calls. It's like they had begun a long-distance relationship. But for them they have to do it so that everything will be fine. Their third anniversary of their relationship came and the two thought of a way to meet. Supposedly, Romela had to do a project at her classmate's house and promised to come home soon. They chose to celebrate the anniversary at a restaurant far from the girl's school. When the two met, they immediately hugged tightly. They talked a lot because they had not seen each other for a long time. After eating, John took Romela to a park.

"Happy Anniversary", John kissed his girlfriend's forehead. Romela also greeted him, saying "How long can we be like this?" I hope everything will be okay", she said, hopefully. "Everything will be okay, I promise" said John. When their eyes met, the young man couldn't stop himself and kissed his girlfriend on the lips. The girl also returned sweet kisses. They both smiled when they finished kissing. Their love for each other grows deeper and deeper. But just like any other relationship, there will come a time when they will be tested.
