“You didn’t need to come with me, B. I’m sure everything is fine, I could have come alone.” Addelyne said for the third time as I walked inside the nearest human hospital with her.
“Nonsense, Addie. Just because Austin is sick doesn’t mean you have to go to the hospital alone. Even if it is a false alarm then you will have someone with you for it.”
“It has to be a false alarm. I’m only thirty-five weeks pregnant, she isn’t coming yet.”
I don’t know if she was trying to convince herself or me because we both know full well babies can come early. The twins came four weeks early so it isn’t unlikely for Addelyne’s baby to be five weeks early.
