A LOUD scream startled Caleb who was sleeping in his bed. He bolted upright and immediately scanned his room—just darkness, pitch black darkness. He blindly looked for his phone on the nightstand and checked the time: 2:14 AM. The scream sounded like it came from his mom downstairs. He pushed himself from the bed and walked outside his room, walking silently in his bare feet. “Mom?“ He called. What could she be up to at this hour? “Mom, was it you who screamed?
