Ibitayo is a young beautiful lady who was so full of life, even though she was an orphan she never seem to be bothered about that. so many people loved her a lot because of her carefree attitude, she doesn't like cheating others, instead she gave out the little she had with joy.

she rented an apartment together with a small shop where she lives and also does her little business of fashion designer, she learnt that while she was in school.

Ibitayo has a friend whom she called Lola. They have been friends since childhood and grew up together, they only got separated when Lola gained admission into college and ibitayo couldn't further her education after her high school due to financial problem. she had been the one catering for herself since she lost her family in a fire outbreak at the mansion they all live as family, her parents alongside her two younger siblings died in the fire accident which cause they haven't detect till date.

Damilola had been a very good friend to ibitayo, she supported her when she has no one, she help her financially whenever she needed her help. Damilola has an elder brother whose name was Akinyele, he was the first and only male child of late Mr and Mrs Lugard, he also know his younger sister Lola and ibitayo to be very close friends since they were little so he also help her in anyway he could.

Tayo as ibitayo was fondly called by her neighbours will be twenty one years few days to come, that she was brooding about as she sat on a wooden bench at the front of her shop thinking about the way they usually celebrate each other's birthday when her family was till alive, she couldn't help tearing up at the thought of her sweet and loving small family when she heard someone called her name. she couldn't believe her eyes, who is she looking at right now, she screamed and shouted and ululated. It was her childhood friend Lola that was standing right before her, she was so surprised at the new changes in her, they jumped at each other, hugged and embrace themselves as Lola was laughing like she never had." Wow, I can't believe my eyes, you are looking really big my friend, I can't even recognize you" Ibitayo said with joy radiating all over her face." You look more beautiful too my dear bestie" answered Lola, "I came here to pick you up actually" she paused and waited to see what her reaction would be, then continue when she sees she was eager to know the reason behind her visit, " because there's a welcome party organized for me by my brother to welcome me back home after my "NYSC" and I think it's also a chance of me meeting my long time bestie whom have missed so much" she paused again and then continue "my brother said he would like the party to be held in the village in order to visit their long abandoned house" she concluded.

"okay no problem, I'm really happy to see you, let me quickly change my cloth and close my shop so we can start going" said Tayo as she hurriedly close her shop and made to go inside when her friend stopped her, "you don't need to change your cloth, cause I'm sure anything you are going to change into won't be any better than the one u are putting on right now, we will branch the boutique and get you a nice and befitting dress" Lola explained. Ibitayo noticed the harshness in her friends word but was not really concerned about it as that wasn't the first time she would be hearing such a thing. " so when is the party" she asked as she followed her friend closely to where her car was parked, " why else would I insist on us going early if not because it's today, I forgot you are an illiterate, u probably wouldn't understand", Lola said irritatedly.

For the second time ibitayo found the word sounding somehow, but her curiosity took the better part of her, all she cares about now is that she found and won't let go of her only friend again. she got into the car and they zoomed off to the boutique where she was transformed into a dazzling angel by the sparkling dress, shoes and jewelries her friend got her, and from there to Lola's house where her brother and many other guest were waiting for them. On getting there, Tayo discovered that the Lola she was with right now is not the one she use to know, she has totally changed, she talked the way she likes, she doesn't care about anybody or how they feel. she was still mesmerizing about that when she felt a tap on her shoulder, she looked back to see who it was and saw it was Akin, her friend's brother, she greeted him with respect and was expecting him to also speak carelessly the way his sister does, " that's how the rich does, it's no big deal" she thought, but she was astonished to hear her brother speak with so much manner and cautious, he was still as calm and nice as ever. He asked her why she wasn't taking anything and went to get her some juice as she has requested, she collected it from him and thanked him as they started talking about their past, they talked and talked about so many things, about the ups- and- downs of life, about how it is very hard for commoners to achieve success, community issues and many more. They were still talking when Akin suggested they have a sit for better conversation, and so they moved to a sit near them and continued with their chit-chat.

Blessing as Lola was now being called by her campus friends, which reason they say was due to her being busty, was busy moving around with different guys, dancing, smoking, and drinking different types of alcohol, as she accompany it with some kind of snacks.
