CHAPTER 2

Monday morning and I have come back from Darius place, I cleaned up my environment and set of to work. I got there but this time around the keys was with Joan so I had to wait for her to come. Joan came, opened the gate and I helped her clean up the place and we settled. Hour later, my phone rang, I checked it up and it was unknown number.

Hello! [I said]

Hello Ella [she answered]. My name is Lisa, I am in the same same school with Morgan.

okay. How may I help you

Well.... I am sorry for not telling you first that I am Morgan's girlfriend [pause] yeah! and he told me you are his sister so I wanted to >>

To do what? [I interrupted]. You mean Morgan told you that? okay. You want us to be friends right?

Yes exactly [answered Lisa]

okay fine [I concluded] the call ended

In the afternoon Aaron came to me and ask for forgiveness because he has now found out the truth and ask if we can be friends. I accepted his apology but refused the friendship. In the evening, Morgan called me and I wanted to be sure of what Lisa said so I decided to ask him

Hey....Lisa called me today

Lisa, which Lisa?

The one you know in your school

But how did she got your number cause I remember clearly not giving your number to her. [he questioned curiously] What did she say to you

She said that you told her that I am your sister so she wants us to be friends

And what did you say?

I said okay

Okay? you said okay? Ella, Lisa called and said I have told her that you are my which you know it's not true and you agreed to be friends with her, as what? [Morgan said angry]

Morgan, please calm down I didn't mean > >

calm down? I should calm down [took a breath] All right, why did you agree?

Listen, Morgan I know you wouldn't do that so I thought maybe you both try to set me up that's why, besides you both are friends aren't you?

Friends? Ella when did I introduced Lisa to you as my friend?

I'm sorry Morgan please!!!

Oh yeah ! you should be [he said then disconnected the call]

Come on, hello! hello! Morgan! [shit....] why is he soo upset with this.

The next morning I tried calling Morgan but he answered none of the calls. Then later I tried again and he answered

What is it? Ella why are you disturbing me? I'm in school don't you get it

Yeah! I'm sorry [I replied with a crying voice] I don't know why you are doing this but I just want you to know this. Maybe you thought I denied you as my boyfriend but that was not it , you don't know how crazy I love you; how can I denied you. Well I won't disturb you again cause I want you to pass so bye !

After the call has ended tears runs down from my eyes cause Morgan has never said anything like that to me before. I felt soo sad and regret for talking to that Lisa girl. Morgan and I were not talking to each other now

The next day we didn't go to work, I know we won't go to work so I didn't bother myself to wake up early because there was nothing for me to do at home . I decided to go and visit Diana and I did so. I came back home lately though I was aware that I will be going to work tomorrow, I was soo tired so I just threw myself on the bed have no idea what happened. I woke up and it was morning already, I had to rush and take my bath do morning stuff and went to work.I went there, open it up and did the needful as usual,the rest came as always and work began

In the afternoon I was sent to go and buy as I always do, I came shared the food for everyone to eat. I finished mine came out to wash my hands and trash the waste then I heard a crying voice so I turned to look who it was and to my surprise it was Harriet.[Harriet? why is she crying? ]

Harriet was coming out from master Terry's shop and walking directly to madam Sarah's shop,then she finally arrived talking and crying.

What you said was true o, I never thought Aaron could cheat on me with that beast [she said directing to Nora]

Nora was one of the apprenticers of madam Sarah, she was the one who told Harriet that Aaron and I were having affair which was not true. I wonder why she did that, I stood there looking at Harriet and Nora shockingly cause I never thought of it. Why will Nora do such a thing against me,therefore I decided to find out the truth.

Not long after, one day I decided not to go early after work, I was around then I saw someone who looks familiar [wait, is that not Nora ?] and so I went to check and I saw Nora with Aaron. I didn't let them see me. To what I saw and heard,Nora was begging Aaron to accept her because she loves him soo much and there's nothing in Harriet and I but Aaron seems not to mind her,then I heard Aaron

Listen Nora, you better stop what you are doing cause it's not going to work, I don't like you just get that

But you love Ella right? you love her her don't you?

What nonsense are you talking about?

oh spare me that Aaron, you think I don't know that you love Ella

And where are all these things coming from huh? when did I told you that I love Ella

Tell me, if you don't love her, what were you doing doing with her the other day I saw you both?

Aaron looked at Nora laughing then walk away without answering her questions

oh so this why Nora went to gossip about that I have something to do with Aaron

I went home soo sad and angry, I sat on my bed thinking ' what is going on? I feel soo frustrated I just don't know what it is. I'm having issues everywhere, I go to work it's Aaron's issue, when I come back home too Morgan is also mad at me now. Can't I have a peaceful life to live?'

These thoughts almost gave me a sleepless night.

Few weeks now and things seem cool, no more fighting over a guy anymore and I feel safe and good now. Month later, early in the morning at work place I had a call and it was Morgan

Hello!! I'm sorry everything [ Morgan apologize]

Yeah it's fine I am good [I replied]

Are you sure? thank you

yes sure........ you are almost welcome

Then we had a few chat and disconnected the call. I was happy because everything is going on well now.

It's friday and I have closed from work and I am home, because it was friday I had a self party thus just having a drink and enjoying myself a little bit at home. I was actually in front of the house then a lady came to me, I don't know her but she came to me greets and ask for water so I got up leaving my drink uncovered to get her water. I came back gave the water to her then continue what I was doing. I took a sip of my drink she thanked me and set to leave. Suddenly I felt strange in my body, I was feeling dizzy, my eyes were going up and down and it seems the earth was spinning then everything became blur I couldn't help it. Then I heard a tiny voice "let me help you go inside; please you need to be fast so we leave immediately it's done ".
