Travis stood up and turned the lights back on. He came back and sat next to Geoff.
“That was…that was great, Travis. I’m proud of you.” Geoff smiled and took Travis’s hand.
“Don’t be proud of me. I just did all the singing, and that’s easy. You should be proud of yourself, seeing yourself in a music video. Not everyone can say that.”
“I was only in it for a minute.”
“I would love you even if you only appeared for a second. Now what’s really on your mind? I can tell something’s bothering you.”
“That’s one thing about you. You’re very perceptive. I was thinking about the wedding. We haven’t talked about it, set a date, or anything…”
Travis interrupted. “Why do ya think I wanted you over here tonight? So we could talk about it.”
Travis rose from his seat and pulled Geoff up by the hand
