~RAVENNA~

I must have cried myself to sleep because by the time I opened my eyes, everyone was offloading off the bus.

“Where are we?” I asked the girl who sat next to me. She wasn't a familiar face.

“We are in the Alpha King's territory. You've been asleep for ten whole hours. Are you okay?” She asked with worry in her tone and I sighed.

I wasn't okay. No one would be okay if they were in my shoes.

“I will be. What's your name?” I asked and she smiled.

“I'm Megan” She said with a grin and I smiled slightly.

“I'm…”

“Ravenna, the Alpha son's mate and the mysterious she wolf? Everyone knows you” She revealed and I frowned. Mysterious she wolf?

Before I could question her on that, we heard a male harsh voice in front of us.

“Get out or i'll throw you out” He muttered and I noticed it was that same guard that didn't want to let me in. It seemed like he already hated me.

Megan and I immediately got out of the Bus and I was amazed by the amount of women that were gathered in that spot.

“All these women were forcefully taken from their packs?” I questioned softly and Megan raised an eyebrow at me.

“Forcefully? Many of the women here came voluntarily including Me and you. We all watched your show” She uttered and I pursed my lips.

“Why would you want to leave your home and come here to become a breeder for the Alpha King?” I asked, taking the attention away from myself.

“I don't know about Everyone else but I'm here to make money. The Alpha King's territory is the only place you can truly make money and I need it to take care of my family back home. I'm not here to be picked.” She revealed and I frowned.

“You may never get to see your family again. Are you okay with that?” I asked softly and she smiled.

“As long as I can make them comfortable then yes” She revealed and j pursed my lips.

“If you were having problem with money, you could reported to the Alpha. I'm sure something would be done…”

“Not all of us had the privilege that you do, Ravenna” I turned towards the voice and frowned. It was Jasmine, a girl I knew quite well. She never liked me, she always made that obvious no matter where she saw me.

After Sean and I came out as mate, she avoided me like the plague.

“Jasmine, drop it” Megan began but Jasmine ignored her.

“Do you know hard the rest of us have to work to cater for ourselves Abd our family? Of course you won't. Complaining to the Alpha won't do anything. My father complained and what did he get? He got thrown in the dungeon for questioning the Alpha” She uttered and my eyes widened.

That isn't be true. There Alpha and I barely saw eye to eye but he never struck me as someone who jailed anyone unjustly.

“Are you sure that was the reason? Maybe…” She scoffed, halting my words.

“I know you won't get it. You're just like the rest of them. All that won't matter when I catch the eyes of the Alpha king. Unlike some of you, I'm actually here to win. If I have the Alpha King in the palm of my hands, I would never have to suffer” She said with a smug look on her face.

“Gather round!” An authoritative voice rang out, sending a chill down my spine. I turned around and saw that handsome guy from earlier that allowed me into the bus.

We all immediately moved to the front while staring up at him. We were in front of a gate which meant we hadn't entered the Alpha King's territory yet.

“You're all here for a purpose which is to serve the Alpha king. Those who are chosen will be utterly at will to whatever the Alpha King demands” He uttered and i frowned. That didn't sound good at all.

“And those who aren't?” A girl asked in the crowd.

“Of course you'll be given a chance to remain or leave. If you remain, you'll be given a place you stay and a job” He told us and Megan Smiled at me and I smiled back.

That sounded much better. That was what I wanted.

“There are rules that govern this territory. Here, the Alpha King's words are law. Those who go against his orders are punished severely or killed. Those who wish to stay must follow those rules if they want their stay here to be peaceful” He explained and I frowned before turning to Megan who also had a frown on her face.

The rules here seem to be very strict.

“I don't want to be here!” A woman suddenly screamed in the crowd, turning all our attention to her. She was crying while a few girls behind her tried to calm her down.

“I was forced to be here, to be away from my mate. I can't take it, I want to leave! Let me leave!” She cried out and all feelings of sadness washed over me but I immediately suppressed it.

I wasn't going to think of Sean.

“Leave then” The handsome man simply said and we all glanced at ourselves in shock.

Was it that easy to leave?

“Thank you! Thank you so much!” She replied and just as she turned around, a man suddenly appeared out of the shadows and ripped out her heart.

Everyone was frozen in shock but when it registered, loud screams were heard as everyone tried to run away from the man who had a beating heart in his hand.

“Bow to the Alpha King!” The handsome man ordered and my eyes widened instantly. That was the Alpha king? That psychopath?

Everyone immediately dropped to their knees and I held Megan tight as she cried in my arms. Even Jasmine was shaking with Fear.

I turned back to the Alpha king and was briefly mesmerised by him. He was shirtless with several Tattoos and scars on his body.

He had dark hair and Silver eyes that looked dull. He had to be the most handsome man I've ever seen and yet, he looked like the devil all in one.

How could a person look like that and be so evil?

“You're all my property now till I find you unfit to share a bed with me. Until then, anyone who wishes to leave will face the same death as her. Your choice” He uttered and I clenched my fist as I glared at him.

“You're a monster!” I said, louder than I had expected. Everyone went silent as the Alpha king slowly turned to me.

My breath hitched as soon as our eyes connected. I knew I should look away but I couldn't.

My heart thumped in my chest as he slowly made his way towards me. Everyone gave way for him and I slowly felt Megan move away from me as well. I couldn't blame her, I was probably going to die as well.

Why couldn't I just keep my mouth shut?

He stopped right in front of me and my whole body shook with fear but I refused to look away.

He bent down slightly till we were eye leveled and my eyes widened as I stared into his silver eyes. I didn't want to admit it but they were the most beautiful eyes I had ever seen in my life.

He grabbed onto my cheek and I whimpered as he pulled me close.

“Oh sweetheart, I'm not just a monster, I'm your worst nightmare”...
