Raven.
She reminded me of a Raven with her dark her hair was and how hard she had been glaring at me a few seconds ago but now, she shook with fear.
Just how i liked them.
Now only her hair but the feeling I got when I locked eyes with her was a feeling I had buried deep within me years ago. Just like a Raven, she was bad news.
She didn't say anything back but I could see it in her eyes that she wanted to. I could feel the stubbornness radiating off her and I almost cracked a smile.
Oh how much I would love to break her. Make her submit to me like the rest of them. Make her worship me but I knew treading towards that line wasn't going to be favourable for me.
Especially after ehat I felt when I locked eyes with her. It was better I kept my distance.
As a matter of fact…
My fingers trailed down to her neck and she softly whimpered and that sound alone made my body ache in ways it has never before.
She was bad news.
The fact that i noticed her from afar in a crowd of women was already enough to tell me that I should keep my distance.
Or I could just break her neck and end things here.
I closed my fingers around her neck and Fear rolled off her body in waves. I tightened my hold on her, not enough to choke her but enough to make her realize how easy it was to kill her.
At that moment, images of her beneath me while I held her neck as I thrusted into her mercilessly flashed through my mind and my d**k hardened painfully.
I immediately let go of her and she sucked in some breath and immediately bowed her head.
I got a view of her boobs from that motion and a groan threatened to escape my lips.
I needed to get away from this woman.
“Alpha King” Calix, my Beta uttered behind me and I almost heaved a sigh of relief, thankful his distraction.
I cleared my throat as I straightened up.
“Have them taken away and prepare them for tomorrow” I ordered as he handed me a napkin to wipe the blood that remain on my fingers.
“Of course, Alpha King. Let me take you home” He volunteered and I nodded. I had gone out to hunt so I didn't come with a car.
Without a second glance back, he led me towards one of my cars. I assumed he had requested for it as soon as he saw me.
I got into the car and seconds later, he hopped in too.
“They're rounding them up. The mess is also being taken care of” He informed me and I nodded.
“Good. Let's go” Immediately, the car roared to life and i didn't spare anyone a glance as the car drove past them and through the gates.
“There's quite a selection this year huh?” Calix began as an atrempt to start up a conversation.
He always did this even though I never reply.
“Did anyone catch your eye?” He questioned and I tensed slightly but didn't say a word.
“Perhaps Raven?” He questioned and I froze before turning to him with wide eyes. How had he known what I calmed her?
“Raven?” I repeated and his eyes brightened and he nodded.
“The girl with the black hair, the one you were talking to earlier. Her name is Ravenna” He revealed and I almost laughed at that. So her name was Related to a Raven?
“Call her Ravenna then” I uttered before turning away from him as I closed my eyes. Raven sounded too intimate Coming from him.
I was the only one allowed to call her Raven.
“Okay. Funny story about her, she's the mate of Alpha Richard's son, Sean or at least was. He caused a scene over her but she was persistent on coming with us” My ear perked Up at his words.
Alpha Richard was one of the strongest Alphas in the word. I knew that in a couple of months, his son was to be made Alpha. I never cared about them before.
I didn't say anything else but my mind was occupied with images of my finger tangled in her black hair as she gagged on my d**k.
I groaned as I clenched my fist. What the f**k was going on?
“Is everything Okay?” Calix questioned.
“Have some of the women brought to the s*x room immediately” I ordered and his eyes widened.
“But they're settling Down and you haven't chosen…”
“Are you questioning Me?” I asked as I turned to him and he shook his head.
“Of course not, Alpha King. Is there anyone in particular you want?” He asked and I glared at him.
“Anyone but that damn Raven”.

I stood up from the midst of five women sprawled on the bed then walked towards the window after grabbing a cigarette.
I lit it and took a long swing before blowing it out. The s*x, although fairly good, hadn't gotten rid of that black hair from my mind.
She was more trouble than I had anticipated.
I should have killed her when I had the chance. I won't let anyone ruin the system I have built up for myself.
I focused on the view in front of me and not a sound could be heard and no one could be seen because I had strict rules.
Music, singing, dancing wasn't allowed in my pack. Everyone needed to have a Job and training in the morning was mandatory.
Anyone that wasn't busy during the day was punished. I hated lazy people.
Anyone seen singing, dancing or even laughing was punished. This world had nothing to laugh or be happy about.
I knew first hand how evil this world was and being happy wasn't going to get anyone anywhere.
I also hated the concept of love. To me, that was the worst crime on earth.
Everyone i had ever loved in the past ended up dying. I was cursed to be alone so why should everyone else around me be happy when I wasn't? It made no sense.
The only form of love that was accepted was that of mates and occasionally, marriages. I had tried to Ban The act of mates but it was way stronger than I thought.
Anyone dating beyond the mating bond or marriage were killed. Those were my rules and that were the rules than ran this place.
It was gloomy, sad, silent but that was how I liked it. That was the only things I knew.
That black hair flashed through my mind and I crushed my cigarette in my hand.
Raven.
For years, I haven't felt anything but Emptiness till today. Till I stared into those dark blue eyes.
If she was going to be a problem, if she was going to disrupt the order of my kingdom then i would have to kill her…
