I cleared my throat as I stood in front of the Alpha King's chambers with the bouquet of flowers in hand. I've finally been able to gather the blooming flowers after a few days.
I've been putting off coming to meet the Alpha King mainly because we don't see eye to eye anymore. He was more busy with his duties and Jasmine to care about the rest of us.
Seeing the Alpha King's guard standing by his door, I knew he was in his room. I took a deep breath before nodding at the guards to announce my presence.
Last time, I had knocked and things hadn't gone as planned. I had to proceed with caution.
“Your Majesty, Miss Ravenna is here” One of the guards announced and I heard a few shuffling then soon followed by a female giggle.
I froze slightly knowing it had to be Jasmine.
