"Well, we should all get ready now for the gala." I said as I walked out of the room. I opened my door and there was Lilly on the bed, consoling a broken Grace. The fact she was supposed to be Thorn's mate still slipped my mind.
"What happened?" Lilly asked.
"A lot, that's all, just a lot. We need to get you gals ready for the gala tonight." Grace nodded between sobs and went into the bathroom. I heard the shower turn on, "Lilly, take your time but come up here and I'll do your hair okay?" She smiled brightly and was off to prepare herself.
I waited a bit, locked the door and grabbed the boxes, I hope everything fit cause we didn't have time now. I had the boxes opened and ready for Grace to see. I had sat at the desk and started writing a note. The shower turned off, Grace was drying
