Gabriella’s eyes widened. It was the man from the bicycle incident! How in the world?
“Hi, David,” said the same baritone voice she remembered, the sound stirring her insides. “Is this a good time? I can come back if you prefer.”
“It’s fine,” David said. “Come on in.”
Gabriella was still staring as the man entered the office and shut the door behind him. She had to admit this guy looked good in whatever he wore—the custom grey sleek suit he was in accentuated broad shoulders she would gladly rest her head on.
David stepped forward and gave him a bro hug. “Hey man, how are you doing?”
“I’m good,” the gorgeous man responded. Then his eyes widened when he noticed her. “Oh, hello.”
