Jason couldn’t believe the lady standing in front of him, the one he’d saved, was his best friend’s little sister. She was no longer the cute little kid that had followed him around most of the summer when he’d been here many years ago. David had thought her annoying at the time, but Jason had been entertained by her antics, which had been the perfect distraction from the arranged engagement his parents had roped him into.
