Chapter 7 Gabriella led the way out of David’s office to the elevators. This set of private elevators only opened on the top three floors of the office building where the company’s executives had offices. Gabriella entered the one that had arrived, punched in her floor button, and pressed her access card against the reader. She watched the doors close, and the elevator began its descent. Jason stood beside her and said nothing. His woody mint-citrus scent wafted up her nostrils, and she resisted the urge to lean into it.
