Jason rubbed his jaw. Why had he come up with the excuse that he had questions? This was so unlike him. Sure, he was curious about her, but that wasn’t enough reason to have insisted on it when he didn’t even have any questions in mind. Now Gabriella kept glancing at him, waiting for him to grill her as they drove toward the wealthier area of town. Wait! Why were they going this way instead of the downtown area where IntimiRose offices were located?
“I thought we were going to the IntimiRose headquarters,” Jason said.
Gabriella shook her head. “It’s best to meet the CEO at her home where she prefers to work from.”
“Okay. Can you tell me a little bit about her?”
“For one, she’s David’s mother-in-law, so you have to keep that in mind.”
