Jason stared after Gabriella as she left his office. Had he made yet another mistake?
He’d arrived for work and had overheard the conversation between Gabriella and Foster on his way to his office. Jason had been afraid Gabriella might make a mistake that would cost her the chance at the CEO position—Foster had deep connections to the board and could use something she said against her. And it would all be because of him.
He’d wanted to caution her, but it seemed his intentions might have come out all wrong.
Jason looked down at the package on his desk. There was a note attached. He picked it up and opened it.

Jason tore open the package’s wrapping and pulled out the item inside. It was a sketch of Jason and David laugh
